Get a refund. ... I had applied for a rental home on ***** that was listed on Trulia only to be told later by the listing agent that she doesn't use the applications online but has her own. There should not have been a link to apply for the home if that is the case. I spent $** on the application through the site for absolutely nothing. I tried contacting her regarding this and she is not responding. The only reason I paid the amount was to rent the home. I am a low-income family with a child who has special needs. I really would like to see what I can do about a refund since she won't be using the application and is not communicating with me. That is a lot of money to us.
