Straighten out the inaccurate information. ... There is inaccurate information in my payment history that I have been trying to dispute for SEVERAL MONTHS using my credit karma account. I am very disappointed in the events that have occurred. I was given different information on the phone than what actually ended up happening and I’m trying to set it straight because I would like to lease a new vehicle with Toyota when my lease ends in November.
There was absolutely NO payments that were **-** days late. There were *, less than ** days late because I became disabled and I called in advance and was told by a customer service rep that it would not reflect poorly on me since I was negotiating with them and my disability was beyond my control. They offered some disability coverage or something, but I told them I didn’t foresee it being long term (which it wasn’t) so I opted out. I am still disabled, but am able to return to work per diem, so payments are no longer an issue. As I stated, I am in good standing with Toyota now.
I want the information corrected in my account and on our credit reports. It is not right to penalize someone because they became disabled.
I am in good standing with Toyota and was looking forward to leasing another vehicle with them when my lease ends in November. My husband and I both are trying to become life long Toyota drivers.
I have tried disputing it with Toyota, through Credi Karma multiple times and I’m now having to resort to reporting it to the Better Business Bureau as a last resort because no one is listening and no one is helping. The last time I called Toyota (*******) I spoke with a Jennifer and she flat out told me there was no way any of this could’ve happened and she “would NOT discuss it with me any further.” So, that’s when I gave up and contacted the BBB.
