My tasker, Idris, in addition to being RUDE, disrespectful, late, belligerent (when asked where he was) FAILED to do the taks!!! He then dropped my items off outside my front door where they could have been STOLEN with a NASTY NOTE attached saying he wasn't going to perform the task. There is something seriously MENTALLY WRONG with this individual. I have never dealt with such a RUDE, INCOMPETENT Tasker before. I've had very pleasant experiences prior to this with TaskRabbit. I urge you to re-consider this individual's working for TaskRabbit, as he put my *$**,*** worth of merchandise in jeopardy--leaving it on my doorstep then leaving--where it could have been STOLEN. I would like a phone call back from someone in customer support IMMEDIATELY as I am FURIOUS about this. He is unprofessional and as a psychiatrist (my profession) I have to wonder if there's some mental illness going on here. His behavior was completely IRRATIONAL. So please have someone in senior management call me back at ***-***-****.**Here is the review I left Idris:**This was a complete nightmare. Idris is possibly the WORST tasker I’ve ever hired. He agreed to show up at a certain time (**:**) but was late by *** minutes (and the task was time sensitive), and had great difficulty finding my building apparently even though it’s quite easy to find. He did not answer MOST of my messages throughout task causing me to wonder if he has some sort of serious issue—possibly even a learning disorder. When he arrived I felt reluctant to give him my items out of fear he may lose them or purposely not complete the task given his earlier behavior-however as I mentioned it was time sensitive so I just bit the bullet and gave it to him. My annoyance was I’m sure palpable because as soon as he left he began messaging me with excuses as to why he was performing the task poorly. At one point he even became belligerent with me. I’ve never had such a horrific experience with a tasker before. I kept messaging him because he was SO late but he was completely UNPROFESSIONAL and never messaged me back. At this point I don’t even know if he REALLY dropped my items off or if he was lying and maybe dumped everything in the garbage. I frankly wouldn’t be surprised if he did given his terrible attitude and anger throughout the task.If you’re thinking about hiring a tasker, do yourself a favor and DON’T hire this disorganized unprofessional bizarre individual. You’ll save yourself a lot of time and stress, trust me. It’s NOT WORTH THE HASSLE. Idris should be fired. No other customer should have to suffer through what I just went to. It was like he was holding me and my task HOSTAGE the entire time and acting like he was doing me a FAVOR by even performing the task. He finally said his phone had “died” in an attempt to excuse his not responding to my messages—however I didn’t buy it. I hope TaskRabbit checked his criminal record. Something was definitely NOT RIGHT about Idris. Luckily TaskRabbit offers INSURANCE so in case he failed to deliver my items they will reimburse me the full cost of everything. I’m shocked that TaskRabbit would hire such an individual and hope they address this entire episode with him.
