I scheduled service to put a screen around a skylight that has an opening. I should have known it would be a problem since he didn’t have a ladder. Plus, he said he was coming from Santa Monica (the job was in Long Beach) and he asked for $** to help pay for gas. Ok, so I thought that was weird but I agreed to bring a ladder AND pay him $** for gas. When he got to the job he was afraid to go on the roof where the skylight is. I sent him a picture so he knew it was on the roof. The last thing he said to me was that he’ll have to put in his profile that he doesn’t work on roofs. I would like a refund on the charges since ** - I had to bring the equipment needed to do the job and ** - The job wasn’t done. And **, I paid the guy $** cash (which he didn’t mind accepting!) for wasting my time. I was coming from ** minutes away just to meet him at this rental property. Twice he mentioned that he’s really a photographer and even gave me his business card in case I have any rental properties to photograph for listings. Very unhappy first time customer!!
