The product was Ikea*s MALM * drawer chest. There was a broken crossbar. The installer completed the chest with the broken piece telling me that Ikea would replace it. The problem is when it is replaced, the chest will need to be, at least, partially unassemble and then assembled again. I cannot do this which is why I employed TaskRabbit to begin with. I don*t want to pay again for this task. I would like to know what their policy on this is as I am sure it happens fairly regularly. Ikea will take no responsablily except to send a new part. I have written TaskRabbit twice and have tried to call many times. They are not answering due to HIGH VOLUME of calls according to their recording.*Please help.
