I have been a T-Mobile customer for over * years, though I just transferred responsibility from my ex-husband's line (with the same phone * ***-***-****) in March of this year. My sister and I took our children on a cruise ***-*******. We were in Key West using our phones when I received the first text that I was being charged $*** or $**. Not sure how or why since I was still in the US. When we arrived to Mexico on *******, I received a text at *:** am : "Welcome to Mexico! Don't worry. Call, texct and browse on your T-Mobile plan at no extra charge!". Obviously, when I received the text a while later that I was being charged over $*** for use, I was shocked and a little angry. I spend well over an hour on the phone with Gen, Edward and then manager Caroln (all in the Phillipnes) who advised they had confirmed that the charges were valid. I am appalled and feel defrauded. I was in the US and was charted for the first fees and then I used my phone after I received the text and was charged, yet no one wants to rectify the situation. I am not denying that I was on a cruise or in Mexico, but perhaps I was not near enough to the towers to not be charged. I expect immediate assistance and resolution of this problem.
