Help with my Synchrony Bank issue
The issue in GetHuman-rmueda's own words
Received a letter from Synchrony Financial address to Donna Semm, my mother-in-law. The letter wants to know if a check ********* was returned, cashed, received, etc and to respond or otherwise it will be remitted to the State of Arizona. The amount of the check was for $**. My mother-in-law passed away in March ****. The check was dated June **, ****. At this date she had Alzheimer's and I was her POA. I do not recall if the check was ever received. *I am guessing that is was for a JCP account which she had and overpaid. My wife is the successor trusteee for Donna Semm. This letter looks legitimate, but I am still somewhat skeptical. The form is to be returned to Synchrony Financial (Arizona), PO box ****, Southereastern, PA *****. I looked up Sycnchrony on the web and the address I find is located in Stamford, Connecticut. My questions are: (*) Is the PA address a legitimate Synchrony address? The second question (which you may not be able to answer) assuming this letter is legit is: (*) When the form is submitted, is a copy of the trust required to be submitted as well? (*)
GetHuman-rmueda did not yet indicate what Synchrony Bank should do to make this right.
