Help with my Synchrony Bank issue

The issue in GetHuman-jcamron's own words
I have owned multiple motorcycles and have credit cards through synchrony. I have always paid well and on time and if something came up I got in contact with you. I mailed out my motorcycle payment (account ending in *****) on March **th. I had something unexpected come up and I received and NSF. I contacted you guys within * days to ask if the payment would be retried since the funds were now available. I was told by multiple employees and through the automated system that the check cleared on the second attempt and my next payment due wasn't until May. I called multiple times over the course of * weeks since my bank account didn't reflect payment and was told the same thing over and over. Now I am getting collection calls saying it was a bad check and now being charged a late fee of almost $**. I normally pay a little more than what is actually due every month. I have a BIG problem being charged that kind of late fee when I reached out multiple times. If you need my account number I will be happy to provide that when I am contacted either by email or phone.
