I am a Franciscan employee and am entitled to a $*,***.** discount per an email that went out to all the employees at Franciscan from Castle Subaru. I did not receive that discount. I’ve tried speaking with the sales associate Mark Sattler who gave me a big run around and I then called the sales manager John and he never called me back. I gave the finance manager a check at the time of purchase in the amount of $*,***.** for a down payment to be cashed on November ** and I got a call from him saying there was a problem with the check and threatened to take legal action against me. I panicked thinking my account was compromised if the money wasn’t in the account. I checked my account and there was sufficient funds. Shortly after that I received a call from Dan that the check had been lost and could I send another check. This has been such a horrifying experience for me! I love my car I just want the discount I was promised without lies and run a round. My fianc*e purchased a Subaru from the dealer in orland and got a *,***.** discount. He wanted me to go to his dealer but I said no I wanted to take advantage of the employee discount at Castle. It has not been a pleasant experience. I would like to deduct the $*,***.** from my down payment and reissue a check for $*,***.**. I was extremely upset that I was treated like a criminal that I wasn’t going to honor that down payment when it ended up that they lost the check then threatened me to take legal action!
