Around a week ago or two, my steam account got stolen*hijacked. I didn't notice at all when I got logged out at that time, and I've only noticed, literally an hour ago, when I tried to uninstall a game. My username and password don't match and the email I used got changed to one I didn't recognize (none of my emails had the same first letter as the changed one). I've never had this issue so in a big mistake, I used up all my attempts (I messed up proof of ownership multiple times, either from a misspelling each time or forgetting a field) and I don't know when I can try again. My card is on that account and even though it's been a while since the email and password got changed and nothing suspicious went on with my card the whole time, I'm really alarmed and uncomfortable. I deactivated my card and changed my email password, I don't know what else to do but wait. I just want my card off of there as soon as possible.
GetHuman-kurachia did not yet indicate what Steam Software should do to make this right.
