Dearest State Farm auto Insurance dept., Please forward this to your customer service disputes department and or arbitration department.**In November **** around the **th I was in an accident. I just got the green light and proceeded through the intersection of Euclid and Market, I was going southbound when a car coming from the east on Market came barreling into my car T-boning my car, spinning it around to a stop facing north. Air bags went off. The impact was so great a force I was shoved to my right and sustained a broken rib and worries my lung may collapse according to the doctors. I saw a total of three doctors and had x-rays. My car had to be towed, an Audi A* wagon **** and in excellant condition before the accident. After the car was in a tow yard and I had to rent a car, I had to pay *.*k at one point. From advice given me I was told to return the rental car and have my car towed from the tow yard to my condo's extra parking spot due to the fact this could take some time to get settled. The car has been sitting in that spot sense November **** and Its an eye sore sitting there wrecked*totaled and has been broken into, ransacked because it could not be locked. Please note when the accident occurred that night & right after I was hit and spun around I had peaked through the airbags to see the driver in the Camry two door who hit me was getting out of the car looking around. He was about *'**'' completely tattooed of asian decent about ** years old. I then crawled under the side air bag getting out of the car, I looked back over to the car that hit my car and the guy was no where to be seen. The police came, I spoke to an officer and he informed me that the guy who hit me had ran, left the seen. I was in shock as I had never been in an accident so severe. I have an excellant driving record for ** years of driving. That night ,after some time of waiting I could see the guy walking back to the seen. He went towards a big tree and anyone could notice he looked obviously impaired or under the influence of something, then trying to steady himself with his back leaning against the tree. The officer approached him to talk. When the officer was done talking to the guy, the officer walked in my direction. I walked towards him and asked what happened? I asked after speaking to the officer wasnt he going to arrest the driver who hit me. The officer said to me that the guy who ran the light and totaled my car, telling me that his lawyer could say that the driver ran from the seen then got drunk or high and came back to the seen so the case would be dismissed because of this. I was in shock! Never have I heard something so wrong, for a clear case of hit and run to just let the obviously guilty driver go was disturbing. I have talked to my insurance "Geico" calling them to keep informed. They explained that this case is in arbitration through State Farm.*I wanted to add what I recently learned from a retired police officer & I was shocked to hear that the act of a driver especially an ex con or someone with a record that it is very common for a driver of this type to run after hitting another car to insure no charges or arrest would be made. That its a known ploy to avoid charges allowing them to walk. *In December **** I had to purchase a cheap car for *k then it had problems. I sold it for *k then purchased another car for *k but it was to small for me so I traded it with a *k value for a larger car at *k. Not to mention some DMV fees. Im out the money and all of the inconvenience and time used. My **** Audi A* wagon sits in my extra parking spot a total wreck, it would be better if I had the space for guests visiting. Im hoping for a positive resolution as Ive been very patient waiting for some resolve regarding my misfortune and hope that State Farm can move to expedite this claim on my behalf so that I can put this behind me, as well be compensated for having to go through the stress as well as all the losses.*Please forward this to a department within your company that will be able to assess the situation so I can be compensated and have some closure,.
