i had an account with a former girlfriend. when we split up we maintained the account together because we had been together for ** years. after several months i decided to end all joint accounts with her and informed her of this. she was not happy with this decision as i found out from other accounts that were left in the negative by her. so i exported my number to cricket wireless and no longer used the sprint account. im unsure how long after my move that she continued to use the service. then to my surprise i received a notice that i owed more than *** dollars for a sprint account that i had not used in a very long time. im not sure how the bill got so high and even after several attempts to get an itemized record of all charges and explanations of said charges i still have not received anything to prove i owe the debt. i want to resolve the debt that i owe but im unwilling to pay the portion that she ran up out of spite.
