I originally set up my mom's cable in Ohio when she was moved to an assisted living facility. since then, she no longer uses it and i'd like to disconnect the service. When i called the main number on her bill (***-***-****), i was told that i'm not permitted to make any decisions on the account. i asked what happened to the Power of Attorney doc that i originally sent them to set it up in the first place, and they said they don't know but they have no record of it. now they're telling me that i have to physically go into a spectrum store to provide the necessary documents. i live out of state and there is no spectrum store near me. i'm hoping to get someone at spectrum who can assist me with forwarding the necessary documents by fax*email and can get the account terminated.
