we have done * bookings today for the same date and same destination for our holidays in December via * different vendors on skyscanner site. We saw the ** hrs cancellation policy message in the side window when booking and went by that as international travel sites always offer a **hrs cancellation policy and it did not strike me to open the details and view the information. After booking one trip , we saw another offer which was direct from Atlanta where we live and booked that and thought we will cancel the other one as we had done it just * hrs earlier and we thought that we have the ** hrs time to cancel it . As i went to the site to cancel it , I could not find the cancel button and then started searching around and then read the details on the cancellation policy. One of the reservation is with Fareboom which we did at *.** pm est ( Order O-*B******) and the other is on Vayama (e ticket confirmation * VUS-********) which we did around **.** pm Est . I need your help to resolve this and get one of the bookings cancelled with full refund ( preferably cancel the new York booking with Fareboom). *i am not trying to cancel my booking and book it on another site but asking you to help me with this genuine reason where duplicate bookings have been made to the same destination . My contact number is : ***-***-**** . i would greatly appreciate if you can help us and expedite this and get back to us before our ** hrs end .

How GetHuman-dcbbij fixed the problem
Called Fareboom customer service and the representative was very helpful and very nice person to help and cancel the duplicate ticket without any charges. Only suggestion would be that you should to ask your vendors to have the Caution sign before final purchase that once purchased the cancellation fee would be applicable. Should not be in fine print. Secondly it is very unusual to have such condition that ** hrs free cancellation is applicable only for Domestic flights. I face this problem because so far I never came across this condition. Even the airlines have ** hours Free cancellation policy. So I made this mistake. Would caution all to be sure before you hit the PURCHASE button. However , no doubt that vendor was very understanding and helped us out.
