Good evening. I purchased * tickets through AAA last December **th as a Christmas present for my partner. We were unable to use them as her job took her out of state most of the year. I had every intention to use them when she came home for Christmas as I know they expire after one year. However, to my complete surprise, she left me after * years. So not only am I completely devastated, I have * tickets that I spent over $*** for and was so excited to use that are going to expire in * days. I called AAA and explained the situation and asked if I could be granted an extension on the expiration due to the circumstances and they explained that the tickets are managed through their third party vendor, Ticket Monster, and referred me to them. I called them and after about ** minutes of the representative trying to find the tickets in their system, they could not find the transaction even with me providing the ticket number, confirmation number , email address they were sent to, etc... They suggested I call AAA back. I did so and a very nice gal tried to find it in their system and then after about ** minutes of trying different things, she offered to call Ticket Monster to see what she could do. She reached them and got back with me and what she found out about why no one could find the tickets was that at the time I purchased them, AAA was using a different *rd party vendor called Asaso (SP?) and she said she had no way of contacting them since they no longer partner with them. At that time she suggested I contact SeaWorld directly to see if an extension on the expiration could be granted. I apologize for the long explanation, but I wanted to try and give you all of the information. I did not expect at all for this to happen and result in me not being able to use the tickets by the end date. With it being Christmas and not having any one I can ask to go with me to use the other ticket (and it would be too sad to go by myself), I am hopeful that there is a way that you could allow me to use them at a later date?
