This is a situation that happened today @****-**** at Sams Club at Rufe Snow, Watauga Tx.*I was stopped at exit by person checking receipts and was told my receipt didnt have as much as what it showed in my cart. He then told another employee and then she looked at my receipt and started going through my shopping. *She pulled out one item, a package of pork chops and said it wasnt on the receipt, and due to this reason, she will have to go through the whole shopping cart. *I told her to just re ring up everything as it would be faster and the same reason for her going thru everything was to make sure every item is accounted for, but she insisted she go through the cart, doing this infront of everyone checking out, embarassing myself as I was with my Grandkids, infront Of everyone in the store as she went through my shopping. *A member of management was called but they still decided to go through the shopping instead of ringing everything as I asked. *It was found out she was wrong about the package of pork chops, it was purchased, and can clearly be see on receipt, “Boneless Pork Chop”! *They did found a bottle of apple juice that was not rung up. That, I do not know whether human error or machine error. But the way I was treated is absolutely a customer service failure and very close to discrimination, and being racially profiled!! *My son in-law, did watch as others were passing through with their shopping and none were stopped!! *I had just bought groceries with my grandchildren a total over $***.** . I am not sure how that amount is suppose to look for the person checking receipt. And to lie to about a pack of pork chop just to go through my shopping infront of everyone else looking, is NOT a way to treat Members!! Sam club is a Members only Club. If this is the way to treat your Members, I am sure there would be other places who would be different!
