this is a copy of a letter to Diamond Parking...**Hello, While trying to be a good parking neighbour in a Safeway parking lot, I received a ticket from your company. * The problem is two fold. One is that I was trying to be a good patron and parking neighbour, and as should be noted, I was in and out in a very short time. So after being able to park for ** years I am suddenly given a ticket for my not knowing how to park in the supermarket parking lot. That is the first problem. Very unnerving... * My second problem is that on your companies parking information sign there is no description of correct, nor incorrect parking procedures that would allow a person using your lot to know and understand how their parking is correct or incorrect. Hence there is no way to correct a persons parking position with anything better than a guess. And I can bet that if I were to ask you what definitions that you have there would be nothing specific enough to make an intelligent adjustment. Especially as it has been a common practice forever to adjust where you park in relation to the lines as when someone parks over to one side or another the other cars and trucks adjust their parking accordingly.* I have parked in this same lot with people blocking me on one side or another and have never seen a ticket given to any of those cars which opens only to more questions as to the predictability of or reasons for receiving a ticket.* I’m sure that as this could be remedied by more information and as none is visible, nor given with the ticket it is looking as though this is a trap to take money, more than help people be good parkers within the store lot.* Very disappointing anytime of year but especially in the season where people are stretching themselves thin for others...* Please try to address this matter within yourselves to make it a more pleasurable experience to park and use the supermarket parking lot. And please inform me of the dispute procedures and where the information can be found.*Thank you,*Leonard Moloney
