** Rudmore Park *Newbridge *Bath*BA* *JB**Mobile: *************Ref: Lost luggage **Dear sir*madam **This is a letter regarding my luggage that you misplaced at Stansted Airport, Monday **th June. **Upon my arrival I discovered that my bag was missing as it was not on the belt indicated. **A member of staff directed me to the Ryanair desk, where there was only one member from Ryanair dealing with a large queue. I was left waiting for an hour and at one point during this waiting time, the member of staff left the desk with no one to assist.**I tried to communicate to the member of staff that I had ** minutes before I would miss my train* the last train I could catch that day. I was told I needed to wait my turn. You left me with no choice but to leave this queue thus I wasnt able to report my bag as missing upon arrival. Despite this, I am aware that its not a legal requirement to report my bag as missing upon arrival.**Once I caught my train, I tried ringing Ryanair to report my bag as missing but to only find that the line was closed until the following morning.**On Tuesday **th June, after many attempts, I managed to call through to the bagged department. Thankfully my bag has been found, however, the reciever stated that I must collect the bag or pay for delivery myself.**I live in Bath which is not local to Stansted Airport. Travelling to Stansted would be time consuming and costly and delivery I was told to pay £** or more. This is not acceptable as this is Ryanairs shortfall making Ryanair responsible to pay for the delivery of my bag. **Since, I contacted Ryanair via phone to have this resolved but found I wasn't progressing at all.**Under the Montereal Convention, I would like to claim compensation to have my luggage delivered to my home. **I am ready to take this further by contacting the CAA.**Yours sincerely **Chelsea Huggins
