Hi there,**I would like e a refund of $** Euros for airport check in, charged to my credit card on May **, ****. **Today on May ** ****, I flew Ryan air for the first time, reservation number XT**KS. *I arrived at Ciampino Airport in Italy * hours before my flight to London Stansted, waited in line for five minutes, and when arrived at the desk, the clerk informed me I would be charged $** Euros in order to check in at the airport.* *My flight was departing at **** and I arrived at airport kiosk to check in at ****. They informed me I now had to pay $** Euros to check in because it was less than * hours before the flight.**The clerk insisted I had been notified this would happen. I was not. I did not receive an email regarding this matter, nor a text message as the airport staff claimed I did. *I can assure you, if I had known I would be charged $** Euros to check in at the airport I would have checked in beforehand! *I checked and double checked my flight times. I had no idea I must check in prior to arriving at the airport. **I received several emails regarding extra baggage charges, and was prepared for this. The lowest price to fly Ciampino Italy to London Stansted May **, **** was $** USD. I upgraded and paid $**.** in order to bring an extra suitcase. *In the following weeks I received several emails regarding extra charges for luggage.* *Why would you notify several times about luggage, and NOTHING AT ALL that someone could be charged TRIPLE the original ticket price simply to check in at the airport? *I have travelled on hundreds of airplanes, on dozens of airlines in countries around the world. I have never been charged to check in at the airport. *Furthermore, today when I attempted to check in online with Virgin Atlantic, they informed me I CANNOT check in online and that, for international visa matters, I MUST check in at the airport. *You can see why I might be confused to suddenly be charged an exorbitant amount for a service like this.**I had a wonderful time in Italy, and am afraid this has really ruined my confidence in Ryan Air.
