Hello,*I am writing to file a complaint about the manager on duty at your Middletown*Wallkill, NY location on Saturday, ****. Her name is Jill. We sat at the bar and we watched her belittle & berate an employee (very loudly) in front of us. He seemed to be attempting to pay for his food at the end of his shift. He followed her behind that bar to give her the money for his food & she was flat-out nasty & condesending to him. She treated him so poorly that it made us uncomfortable to watch. I am in the restaurant business (have been for over ** years), so I understand the mechanics involved in running a “tight shift”...yet, I have never witnessed something so unnecessarily mean. Being in charge requires grace under pressure & should NEVER be about “power” or intentional cruelty. It most certainly should have never happened in front of customers! It was a poor display of leadership & it left me feeling extremely uncomfortable...not to mention the embarrassment that it must have caused her employee. I would never work for someone like that. I felt as if I needed to let someone know.*Thank you for your Time,*Melissa Schultz
