Good afternoon, first of all I would like to begin that we have enjoyed dining at Ruby’s for a long time and add that we will more than likely continue to do so in the future. *Something happened last week however that I would like to share. First of all we had been there the week earlier and used your BOGO meal which we love, we’re a retired couple and appreciate those deals. I had two gift cards our children had given us so we used one* since I didn’t know the exact amount I gave our waitress both cards. When she returned she handed me both cards and with a big smile she said that we had a few dolllars left on one and the other one was a complete $**.** that had not been used at all, I thanked her and placed both cards in my wallet. I always leave **% or more tip in cash. The following week, last week, we returned to Ruby’s for another dinner and told the waitress that one of the cards has a few dollars, but the other was a $**.** full value. She returns saying one had $*.** and the other $*.**... I know that card had a total $**.**, but she insisted it was empty. I had no proof because that had been a Christmas gift and had no receipt.*I pondered over and over whether to tell you of this dilemma, I decided to do so just in case you might hear from others at the Milford Ruby about the same situation and then look into it.*As I said, I know within one week no one had used that gift card, I have no idea what happened, but from now on I will take a photo of my card number before I hand it over to a waiter or waitress.*Thank you for your attention,*Adele Wehrum
