If you talk to a Rent a center store personnel about your payment problem why do they threaten you?

Make arrangements on my payment ... I was with HH Gregg until they went out of business. I was told to take my account to RAC in Fredericksburg Va I did. I only owe approximately $***.** or less. But I lost my job due to illness so I'm on Disability. I informed them of this and said when I could pay them. They told me if I could not pay on the day they said they would come and pick up my washer*dryer and the only way to get it back was to pay it off completely. I never read that in the contract, so do each company make up their own rules. I'm only * weeks later.

I'm now on a fixed budget.

waiting until O get my check and pay them what I owe them.

yes but they keep threatening me that they are going to pick it up and I won't get it back until I pay it completely off in **days.
