I ordered a pizzza and wings online. It said it would take half an hour. I ordered at *:**. At *:**I called the restaurant and asked if everything was okay. The woman who answered the phone was in a hurry to hung up. she asked me my name and then said the pizza must have been in the delivery car because she did not have the order anymore.Twenty minutes later and no pizza so I called again. At that point the girl on the phone told me my order had been cancelled because the fryer wasn’t working. I asked why I had not been informed and she said she had tried to call me. I had been by my phone since I had ordered the pizza and there had been no phone calls. I asked if she had my number and she gave me the correct number, so she had not called. I asked to talk to the manger and all he said it was that it was a miscommunication and not to worry because Inhad not been charged. Not to worry after I had been waiting for dinner for an hour and a half. Why didn’t they tell me they had cancelled my order when I had called earlier? I guess they just wanted to finish fast and go home.
It was very frustrating to realize after more than one hour that we were not getting the pizza. We were tired and had decided not to go grocery shopping so we were counting on the pizza for dinner.
I want to make sure that the employees responsible are reprimended so they realize they cannot do this to people. How long does it take to call or text somebody?this happened with the Pizza Hut in Main Street in Bridgeport, West Virginia.
I have never complained if it takes a little longer. I think I am flexible and understanding.
Talking to the manager was a waste of time.
