Get my wireless turned back on. ... My name is Robert Burbage. I have used a Phillips ResMed VPAP S* for some time now. Over a year ago, the wireless feature stopped working. While speaking to a Respironics agent, I was informed that the (working) wireless cards in ALL S* machines NATIONWIDE had been electronically disabled, in an effort by the company to "encourage" users to "upgrade" to the latest model. At the time, that was the S**. Today it is the DreamStation. Have you disabled the wireless cards on all of the S**'s?*WHAT I WANT YOU TO DO IS simple, and I know for a fact that it can be done. ENABLE THE WIRELESS ADAPTER in my machine. If you need the MAC address, or any other information, you can call me at ***-***-****. This is my home number, I am retired.**Thank You. Robert
A Respironics agent told me that the company remote-accessed into all of these machines and electronically disabled the working wireless cards as part of an effort to get the customer to upgrade to a newer machine.
Several years.
Nothing else will work.
