I unfortunately fell victim to a scam where I believed a person posing as my nephew needed urgent financial help. The scammer called while I was at Denver Airport, claiming to be in Los Angeles facing an issue with customs and needing $[redacted] to avoid confiscation of undeclared cash. Eager to help, I sent the money via PayPal as requested, only for the scam to evolve into further demands through another method. I am now seeking advice on how to recover my lost funds and plan to file a fraud report. Can someone provide me with the correct phone number to report this incident and help me in this situation?

Here is my issue: I am unable to log into my account ([redacted]). My password is correct, but I am not receiving the confirmation SMS on my mobile phone. I have noticed a similar problem with other sites (like survey sites). Is it possible to change my phone number? Mine was [redacted] [redacted] [redacted]. I could use my husband's phone number instead: [redacted] 19 11 25. Can you assist me?

My Paypal account is currently temporarily locked. I am certain of my password, but to proceed with the verification process, I need to input a 6-digit code sent via SMS to my phone. However, the issue is that the phone number on file is registered as a US number when it is actually an Indian number. As a result, I am not able to receive the verification text and complete the confirmation process. I do have access to my email, but unfortunately, the system is not requesting email confirmation, leaving me in a difficult situation.

I recently made a purchase on the Tommy Hilfiger official website and encountered an issue during checkout. Unfortunately, after completing my payment, I was informed that they do not ship to Malta. To make matters worse, I noticed that I was charged twice for the item. I have tried contacting the company via email with no resolution so far. It's worth mentioning that I used PayPal for the transaction.

I sent $[redacted] to my boyfriend via Paypal on July 13th to his account [redacted] It's been over 3 months, and the money hasn't appeared in his account. I have proof of the transaction on my end, but his account shows no record of it. I kindly request a refund or that you ensure the money reaches his account. Thank you. Yinmao Xu

I raised a dispute regarding a seller on eBay from whom I purchased a box set. However, after my purchase, the seller altered the listing to a completely different item. I reached out to the seller to retract the listing due to the discrepancy, but they insisted the box set was shipped. It has been more than 4 days, and I have not yet received the box set. Subsequently, the listing has been taken down. Despite providing photographic evidence to support my claim, the case was closed in favor of the seller, which I find disappointing. I am eager to receive a refund promptly. I intend to escalate this matter with eBay, file a formal complaint with PayPal, as the supposed buyer protection has failed me in this instance.

I made a purchase from J.C.Penney on December 3 with transaction ID 0-1D783857PT301803L using PayPal for an order totaling $67.92. Despite selecting PayPal, there was an issue, and my debit card was charged instead. The amount was debited from my checking account, and I was notified that PayPal would also charge me once the order ships. Woodsville Guaranty is unable to refund this debit card transaction. Kindly, refrain from deducting the amount again.

On November 30, [redacted], I reported an unauthorized PayPal payment for plumbing equipment to Wayfair amounting to $[redacted].66, even though I never made the purchase. Surprisingly, the item was still delivered to my address. Wayfair mentioned that the transaction used a strange email, [redacted], which they claim is the only email on file for me. However, when I contacted PayPal, they confirmed my correct email as [redacted], with no record of the unfamiliar email. I am concerned about how this discrepancy occurred. Despite being promised follow-up by the Fraud Department, I have not received any communication via call or email as of today, December 4, [redacted]. My attempts to contact the Fraud Department by phone have been unsuccessful.

I need help with three separate situations. Firstly, I bought a blouse in October and it's terrible. I've tried contacting the company for a return with no luck. Secondly, I ordered shoes from GRROS and would like to cancel the order and get a refund since I never received them. I was billed on my credit card on 11/14/19. Interestingly, I ordered the same shoes from Blastsbuy for almost $20 less on the same day and still don't have them. I'm very frustrated! I had reached out to PayPal about this previously but fell ill. I'm now able to address this issue again. Thank you for your assistance.

I require help with a recent PayPal purchase as the merchant's name is in Chinese, a language I do not speak fluently. I need to either begin a claim or gather details to reach out to the merchant. Moreover, I am currently unable to access my PayPal account due to language barriers during the verification process. Even though I confirmed the transaction was authorized, my account is now limited since the system could not comprehend my response. On October 26, [redacted], I intended to buy 5 small drones as Christmas gifts. I became confused during the process and decided not to proceed, concerned I may have mistakenly ordered too many. Shortly after, I received an automatic confirmation that my order would ship in 5 days, leaving me uncertain about the purchase's validity. Worried it might be a scam, I doubted if the supplier was genuine. After contacting the resolution center, I was assigned case number PP-D-[redacted]8. Despite my belief that the order wasn't finalized, I later received an email from PayPal confirming the payment to the supplier of $[redacted].99 for the drones. By November 18, having heard nothing from the supplier, I reached out to inquire about the missing items. Surprisingly, I was informed that my order had been cancelled on October 26, the same day I placed it. However, the supplier had not been paid, leaving $[redacted].99 unresolved in my PayPal account. Hello, I made a purchase on Depop using my card on 11/13. Unfortunately, I had to cancel the payment as the seller never shipped my order. After speaking with a Paypal representative on 12/1, I was advised to wait for 4-7 business days for the $40 refund. It has been longer than expected, and I haven't seen the refund in my account yet. I am seeking an estimated timeframe for when the refund will be processed and any updates on its status. Thank you.

I am having trouble logging into my PayPal account. The phone number linked to my account is no longer active. The email verification process is not working as I never receive the 6-digit code, possibly due to an incorrect email associated with my account. The security questions are also not functioning correctly. My AMEX credit card is still linked to my account, but it has been replaced, and PayPal does not have the updated card number. I purchased 2 tubes of Pore Concealer Primer Cream for $14.95 each, with one at 60% off. However, my receipt from Pay Pal showed I ordered 3 tubes at full price, charged $5.85 for shipping, and totaling $50.80. I used my credit card, not Pay Pal. I wanted to dispute this as it seems like a scam. When I called Pay Pal at 9:11 A.M., I had to wait for a return call for 40 minutes. I was then put on hold for 45 minutes without resolution. Unfortunately, I couldn't wait on the phone all day. I am frustrated with this situation and do not wish to continue dealing with this company.

I attempted to refund a customer, but it was unsuccessful as per a PayPal representative because the customer's card was frozen. I informed the customer about the situation and tried processing the refund again without success. The customer mentioned she might dispute the charge with her bank, even though she did receive the order. The transaction was meant to be a refund or a return, so I don't believe I should incur a $20 fee for this error.

My client requested a refund, claiming she paid for completed services which were services for graphic and Shopify site design. She has already been refunded for previous work, and now she wants a refund for work done four months ago, even though we continued working together since then. The client's recent refund was approved by PayPal, despite me providing evidence with emails and chats showing the work was completed, and payment was made after approval. The Shopify projects are still live, demonstrating that the services were delivered. I am perplexed as to why PayPal granted the refund without any explanation. I am willing to provide project files and email exchanges to support my case against these refund requests for completed services that were paid for and delivered.

I submitted a claim about a missing item. The seller gave PayPal a fake UPS tracking number, which I proved with UPS documents sent to PayPal. I was assured my claim would be handled. The website TikiBag.com lists item number [redacted] for [redacted] as "on hold," but the seller insists it was delivered, which it was not. I haven't received any response from the seller since PayPal was charged.

In January [redacted], my account was locked, and after enduring the [redacted]-day lock-in period, the issue persisted. PayPal declined to release my funds, and despite my repeated emails, no resolution was offered. Recently, in November, all the funds from my account, totaling $5,[redacted], were deducted by PayPal citing "violations" without notifying me of any wrongdoing. I am baffled as I never received any alerts for violations or disputes, and if proven, I should only be penalized a specific amount, not the entire balance. The money in my account was designated for medical bills, and now I am left without any means to cover these expenses. I earnestly seek the return of all or a portion of my funds.
