I recently reviewed my American Express credit statement and came across a charge from October 17, [redacted], for $36.32 to PAYPAL8MADISONJUW [redacted]. I did not authorize any transaction with PAYPAL as I do not have an account with them. I request that this matter be rectified, and the $36.32 be refunded to my AMEX account. Additionally, I am concerned about how PAYPAL obtained my credit card information. Thank you.

I recently bought a watch from what seemed like a US-based website that promised a refund within 30 days. However, upon receiving the receipt in Chinese and realizing the watch does not function as advertised, not measuring blood pressure, heart rate, sleep data, or oxygen levels, and unable to pair with Bluetooth, I attempted to return it. The company did not respond until I filed a claim, instructing me to ship the item to a location in China at a cost exceeding the watch's value. Feeling defrauded by the misleading US appearance and lack of proper return process, I'm now left with a faulty watch. Despite attempting to communicate through emails, the only option given is to input a tracking number with no room for response. This whole ordeal has left me dissatisfied, especially since PayPal has been of no assistance in protecting buyers. After researching the watch company, I discovered multiple similar complaints about receiving fake products and being directed to ship them back to China, all with PayPal's backing. If this issue remains unresolved, I'll reconsider using PayPal, despite being a loyal customer. The lack of transparency in contact information and ineffective buyer protection is disheartening. Case # [redacted]5.

I received an invoice to pay dues, and the recipient asked for payment via PayPal. As I do not have a PayPal account, I chose the guest option and used my credit card. However, during the transaction, a message popped up saying the payment would continue in a new window. Despite refreshing the page multiple times, the same message persisted. I am now worried about the security of my credit card details. This issue occurred late on Sunday, December 1, and I successfully made the payment the following morning on December 2. I would like clarification on what happened. Will there be any charges for your service, considering the recipient uses PayPal?

Dear Customer Service, I have attempted to resolve this issue by contacting customer support, but unfortunately, I have not been successful. I am currently unable to access the funds in my account. Whenever I try to access the money, I receive a notification from PayPal prompting me to verify my identity. Since I no longer have access to the phone number linked to my account, and the website does not accept the upload of my ID, I am unable to make any changes or transfer money. I am also unable to order a card to access my funds. This situation is urgent as I require these funds for essential expenses, especially after utilizing my usual budget for rent. I am willing to verify my identity over the phone to resolve this issue promptly. I have not shared my password with anyone and did not use a VPN when accessing my account. Your prompt assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Raymond C.

I need to cancel my Resolution case, but it's not appearing on the list of cases. I contacted a support agent who opened the case for me, and it has been escalated. However, I now want to close it as the seller is prepared to ship my item. Unfortunately, I can't do this since the case is not showing up. I am frustrated that I had to wait an hour for assistance from PayPal. The callback feature had me waiting for an hour, only to be disconnected when they finally reached out to me. I would appreciate immediate contact to address this issue. Thank you.

I need help accessing my gift card as I've forgotten my password and changed my phone number. I'm frustrated that I have to go through PayPal to use it and can't remember the account number I used. I've been on hold for 20 minutes and locked out of trying different passwords. It's disappointing that using my gift card has become such a hassle. I selected email as my preferred method of communication but was still prompted for a text message.

I just sent another email asking them to cancel the order and refund my money. I would appreciate assistance in canceling order #[redacted] and obtaining a refund from the company.

Hello, good morning. I recently sold an item with case number D-[redacted]0, and the buyer is disputing the quality of the item. The product was purchased from Costa UK and is BS approved. I have sold many of these products without any issues. It appears that the item may have been damaged by the recipient who is now attempting to get a refund. I have reached out to Costa UK to inquire about any other complaints. I would appreciate advice on the best steps to take. Thank you.

I recently had a payment issued to me by eBay. I purchased camera batteries that were held at the global shipping center and ultimately discarded due to shipping issues. eBay promised a refund. Initially, I received a $60 tax reimbursement to my card, and an additional $[redacted] for the item. The $[redacted] shows as "payment received" on my account statement, but it hasn't reflected in my card balance for 2 weeks. Currently, my account balance remains at $0. I am unsure where the $[redacted] has gone.

I made a purchase as a guest because I couldn't remember my account email. Unfortunately, after confirming the order, I realized the website is a scam selling fake Yeti Cups. I've tried to contact the seller through email and phone but haven't received any response, indicating it's a scam. Numerous sources also confirm this as a scam site. I'm unable to reach the seller through any means and want to cancel the payment to get a refund. Can Paypal help with this since the payment was processed through them? My employer and I need to adjust our payment method. He wishes to replace his American Express card, our usual payment method, with a new card for a few one-time payments. The system warns us about pre-authorized payments linked to the American Express card. Is there a way for him to use the new card for approximately six payments today, then switch back to the American Express card once these payments are completed?

PayPal closed my case in regards to my order from Amazon in October. I received three items, but one of the chairs was damaged. Despite the initial promise of a replacement, there were delays in communication and the condition of another item, a sofa bed, turned out to be unsatisfactory with sagging cushions causing discomfort due to arthritis. I have now returned the chair, but I am still awaiting a refund for the entire order. Your help in resolving this situation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Stephanie Clark.

I received an email and I wanted to verify its authenticity. The email stated it was from the buyer protection program and mentioned suspicious activity on my account. It advised me to log in to PayPal to check for unauthorized access and mentioned a restricted section. It then asked for my cooperation and stated that they would send an email regarding the account status after reviewing the information.

I am having trouble with my password. I have tried every password I can think of, but none of them are working. I can verify my identity with my email, but then it asks for a phone number that I no longer have access to. What's the use of offering alternative methods if they all lead to the same frustrating outcome? Please fix my account and send me the necessary information to reset my password. Thank you.

I have been a PayPal user for nearly twenty years. At 85 years old, I am dealing with health issues and am visually impaired, making it difficult for me to see the monitor clearly. Unfortunately, I am unable to log in successfully as the system only accepts my first security question. Currently residing in Mexico, you can reach me at +52 [redacted]. I recently updated my debit card and need to update it on my account. I am residing in Mexico and not at my regular USA address of [redacted] South Boyer Avenue with the phone number area code of [redacted] *** ****. I appreciate your assistance and understanding of my challenging situation. Best regards, Charles Gordon

I was charged $66.00 on 08/30/[redacted] and another $66.00 on 08/31/[redacted] by Shanghai Xiaoyi Technology Co. Ltd. The funds were debited from my PayPal account. Despite multiple attempts to contact the vendor via email about these charges, I have not received any response. I am confused as to why PayPal has allowed these two debits without any follow-up or assistance in identifying the nature of these charges. My trust in PayPal is diminishing. Can someone please assist me with this issue?

Today, I received an email stating that my PayPal account was locked due to suspicious activity. The email requested personal information like my name, credit card number, address, social security number, the code on the back of the card, security code, and my mother's maiden name. After submitting the information, the email claimed my account was unlocked. Upon checking my bank account, I noticed a pending charge of $80.22 displayed as "POS S POS Signature PayPal Htyagoo SG" for tomorrow's date. This charge does not appear in my PayPal activity, and I am unsure of its origin. As a single mom, $80.22 is a significant amount for me to lose if the charge is unauthorized.
