I set up an e-mail tax withholding procedure using my bank's routing number. In January (****), $***.** was withdrawn by NC Dept. of Rev. however, no money has been withdrawn since then. Shouldn't the payments be made quarterly? Do I have to initiate the payments somehow?*Ken Sugawara

I contacted customer service (***-***-****) , explained the problem and she transferred me to another agent who was able to explain to me what caused the problem. Evidently, I had misinterpreted what was on the NC Dept. of Rev. website concerning estimated tax withdrawal. I mistakenly thought the estimated tax would be withdrawn quarterly by NC Dept. of Rev. So, the $*** that was withdrawn from my account was added to **** quarterly withdrawal which is fine. I have now arranged to send a check in quarterly as I have always done in the past. No more fuss with electronic transactions. Problem solved.
