Complain ... we have been nespresso customers for over * years* (* of our daughters are also customers.) We reached Ambassador level shortly after our * years, instead of the usual **.*My wife suffers from High Blood Pressure, and has recently been tested again at our GP.*We thought that if she shifted to decaff, that might help. Last week, she had bought (inter alia) * Volluto Decaff, and * Vollutto. I thought if she returned the Volluto, all capsules still sealed and no sleeves opened, she could simply swop these for the decaff variety.*To-day she was refused that service in your Edinburgh Shop* for us, that is a **-** mile round trip, to give custom to your shop* of course Nespresso compatible capsules are on sale in supermarkets: there are two near-bye, the furthest Asda, being a mile away, the nearer, Tesco half a mile, and obviously it would be handier to buy capsules in either. (larger branches of each are within * miles).*Your shop can tell us what our most recent purchase was* a check would have shown that the Volluto had been bought within a week. *The questions arise, what is the benefit to us of such treatment, when we could replace our monthly purchase - latest at ** GBP, with weekly ones in our local supermarket?*It is standard practice in other shops to swop goods returned 'as bought' in saleable condition. I've detailed that YOU (Nespresso) decided because of the amount of coffee we had bought the elevated us to 'Ambassador level' as a good customer. We used to buy our coffee at the Trafford Centre shop in Manchester on our visits there, then we had it delivered and have frequented the Edinburgh Shop since it opened - still buying in Manchester, though. We buy on average each month **** Ristretto, ***** Roma, **** Volluto decaff, and **** Volluto. Our purchases of Ristretto and Roma double when any of our three daughters visit & stay a week with us.
Not yet* read my complaint - the easy way out for us is to quit buying Nespresso, use substitute compatible capsules, or ditch your machines and go back to buying beans or ground coffee and our filter machine (kept in reserve for our Folger's Black Silk Coffee, which we get on our annual visit to the USA
