I needed to submit a form by April 30 to continue receiving unemployment benefits. I don't recall having a password for the system, only a four-digit code. When I attempted to log in, it requested a password for certifying weekly benefits, which I hadn't set up. After trying the password reset option, it asked for my birthdate and birth town, but my entries were rejected. Following advice, I attempted multiple times and ended up getting locked out of the system. Despite sending a physical letter with evidence of my efforts to meet the deadline, I've had no success. Today, I called a support number, followed the prompts, but there was no agent available to assist me. I am owed approximately $[redacted] plus $[redacted] weekly, and given the current economic situation, it's crucial I resolve this issue promptly.

I submitted my request for adjustment via email over a month ago. Despite this, I have not received any of my unemployment benefits since January 9th, [redacted]. It has been incredibly difficult for me during this time. I've tried reaching out twice and still haven't received any help. The specialists were informed twice, but I haven't had any updates or payments. I am actively job hunting but struggling due to financial constraints and limited local job opportunities because of COVID-19. I desperately need assistance soon as I've exhausted borrowing options from family and friends. I can provide evidence of job applications, but I have been unsuccessful since my setback with doordash last year. I urge you to connect me with a person who can swiftly resolve this matter, especially since it has been escalated to a specialist multiple times.

I recently submitted a new claim with the wrong start date which caused an issue due to overlapping with my previous unemployment benefits. I have a hearing scheduled for June 23, and I am unable to receive payment until July. I need to claim for when I was laid off in February, as I mistakenly claimed for the period when I was furloughed last year. My confusion led to me receiving benefits from April to June [redacted], when I should have claimed for my current situation. It's all from the same job, and I entered the wrong start date ([redacted]) that needs correction to reflect the period I went back to work until I was laid off. I urgently need assistance to correct this error to ensure I can cover my bills. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you and have a pleasant day.

Hello, my name is Saquon Wilson. I have been attempting to reach out to the Department of Labor (DOL) regarding my extensions that I was deemed eligible for but never received. I have been facing financial hardships since October [redacted] due to not receiving any payments. Despite numerous attempts through emails and calls, I have been unsuccessful in obtaining any assistance. I lost my job in February due to Covid and have been relying on PUA benefits. Although I was informed about an extension and my balance was updated, I have not received any payments. I received FEMA and PUA payments, but the extensions for federal and state assistance were missing. I am desperately seeking help as I have been struggling for months. Any assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have an upcoming interview scheduled for 06/02/[redacted] and it was mentioned that "You may be employed with earnings." Currently, I am actively receiving monetary benefits from my employer, American Airlines, due to the Payroll Support Program Extension until 09/30/[redacted]. I have been informed about the extension through an email from American Airlines addressing the additional funding for the Payroll Support Program, allowing eligible employees to continue receiving pay and benefits. I have been certifying my monetary payments on the NJ Unemployment website, but I am unsure if I still need to do so, considering my return to work is confirmed after 09/30/[redacted]. If anyone needs to contact me, please reach out at [redacted]. Thank you for any assistance provided. Best regards, Persio R.

Since February 3, [redacted], I have been unemployed and have been trying unsuccessfully to reopen my claim. I was informed that an escalation report needed to be submitted, and I was anticipating an email in 4-6 weeks asking for my last pay stub. However, it has now been over 9 weeks, and I am yet to receive this email. Despite having my final pay stub ready, I am worried about my bills as June 1st approaches due to the prolonged delay in payment. I was assured this would be resolved before June 1st after contacting on May 3rd, but I have still not received the email requesting the pay stub. Please contact me at [redacted] or email me at [redacted] promptly so I can provide the necessary document.

I reside in New Jersey and have been employed in the state since I was 16, with a recent job in Manhattan, New York. After being laid off in March [redacted] with a small severance, New York is delaying my unemployment until my severance runs out. I have a long work history, including 24 years at Prudential and 3 years at Dorfman, Abrams Music CPA, and have always paid unemployment tax. Despite never previously applying for unemployment, I am now in need of assistance due to increased costs during the pandemic, especially for my COBRA medical insurance. I would like to inquire if there is a possibility to receive unemployment benefits from New Jersey instead of New York due to my work history and current situation. Unfortunately, I have been unsuccessful in contacting anyone at the New Jersey Unemployment office. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I am struggling to file due to an outdated message, and I am certain there is still money in the account. This has been a recurring issue for weeks, making it hard for me to pay my bills and support my family. As a welder, finding local work has been tough, and although there are opportunities up north, I lack the funds for gas and insurance. My car insurance payment is nearing its due date, and I fear it will be canceled as I can't afford it while providing for my family. I've always worked hard to provide for my loved ones, even sacrificing my own meals. Now, I am forced to sell my tools, which are vital for my work, just to make ends meet. With only $[redacted] received recently, it's not much, but it helps, and now I can't even access that. I feel helpless and don't know how to explain to my family that I may not be able to feed them soon.

I lost my job on Feb 26th. I reside in New Jersey, while my previous employer is located in Horsham PA. I worked there for nearly three years, and during that time, my Unemployment taxes were mistakenly paid to NJ due to their instructions. When I applied for Unemployment benefits in NJ, I was redirected to file in PA since my employer was there. So, I completed my claim on the PA website, inadvertently opening two claims. NJ Dept of Labor flagged this for review, which was supposed to take up to 8 weeks, ending on May 21st. After calling on 5/25 for an update, I learned that a new investigation was opened because of my previous inquiry in early May, potentially adding another 8 weeks to the process. It's been 12 weeks since I last worked, and I haven't received any benefits. I urgently need guidance on my next steps.

I have been struggling to receive my unemployment benefits for nearly 12 weeks now and need urgent assistance as I am running out of funds. Please see the correspondence below. Hello, I have not received any updates or guidance on resolving my issue (claimant ID#[redacted]82) despite waiting patiently for 12 weeks without any payment. During a conversation earlier this week, I was informed that a new investigation was initiated on May 6th, and I might have to wait an additional 8 weeks for a decision. This wait is becoming unbearable for me. I understand the workload you are facing, especially in the current circumstances, but I urgently need this matter rectified to start receiving my unemployment benefits from NJ. If necessary, I can provide a check stub from my previous employer based in PA, showing payments made to NJ. Please assist me promptly as my savings are nearly exhausted, and soon I will have to tap into my retirement savings. For immediate contact, reach me at [redacted]. Thank you in advance for your prompt assistance. I anticipate a swift response. S.D.

I filed my NJ Unemployment Insurance claim on March 29, [redacted]. My last payment was on December 10, [redacted]. Despite being emailed on January 20, [redacted], about being eligible for an 11-week extension, I have not received it. I attached a printout of an email from NJDOL dated February 4, [redacted]. I'm Josephine N Mangano, you can reach me at [redacted] or [redacted]. I've had two escalations but no resolution. I am concerned about not receiving the extension and possibly missing out on the new benefits from the American Rescue Plan. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Josephine Mangano

I was recently laid off, and when I tried to log into my existing user account, I received a message stating, "Your access to the New Jersey Unemployment Insurance System is denied since it originated from a location outside of the United States." This message is confusing because I have not traveled outside the country, and the last time I applied for unemployment benefits was in May [redacted] while in NJ.

It has been over a year, and I am still owed more than $10,[redacted]. Several weeks' worth of benefit payments have not been received, with each week being around $[redacted] short. I need help to track down all the missing payments and reconcile the discrepancies for the ones that were deposited into my account. I have reached out multiple times but have not received any resolution. I am specifically missing 6 or 7 payments of the $[redacted] bonus and two months' worth of regular payments. The dates provided do not match what I see in my account, and there seems to be a significant shortfall compared to what the IRS has on record.

I have been claiming weekly pandemic unemployment benefits online since March 21, [redacted], but I recently tried to claim my benefits and was not paid for the last two weeks. After calling today, I was informed that no payment was made this week. I've been unable to reach anyone by phone using the provided numbers and can't find an email to contact a real person. I need to know if my benefits have been stopped. During the first week, I had a knee injury and had to wear a brace, but now I have recovered and am actively looking for jobs this week. Please reach out to me at [redacted] or [redacted] since I rely on this extra income to cover my expenses for the month. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I am seeking assistance from a supervisor or a higher authority at NJ Unemployment. I have been unable to certify my benefits for four weeks due to an issue with the ID.me site. Despite my attempts, the site is crashing, and I am unable to complete the process. This delay has left me without any financial support for a month, impacting my ability to afford necessary medical treatments, prescriptions, and food. It is frustrating to receive different explanations each time I contact Unemployment, and I am distressed by the lack of clarity regarding why I am on the ID.me list. Despite reaching out to my state Legislature's office, they were unable to provide assistance. The situation has left me scared, frustrated, and angry, highlighting the significant challenges within NJ's system. I feel compelled to voice my concerns to Governor Murphy but have been unable to do so. The current state of affairs is pushing me to consider relocating.

I have been waiting for over 8 weeks for an email or link for my unemployment claim. After finally receiving the link, I filled out the necessary information as instructed. A separate email stated a response would take 4 weeks, but it has been longer. It has been difficult for me financially, not having received any payments since December. I would appreciate a prompt response to resolve this matter. Thank you.

I was approved for benefits in June [redacted]. In September, I contacted them after having knee surgery on July 12. Due to my recovery, I indicated that I was unable to work, and they allowed me to call in for the following weeks. However, I have only been paid until that week. Despite extensions, I haven't received payments for a year. When I contacted them, I was told that a specific department needed to resolve the issue, but they were unavailable due to Covid. Despite multiple attempts, I have been misdirected to different departments. I am struggling and need urgent assistance to address this ongoing problem with my benefits.

I'm struggling with NJ unemployment. I was informed that I needed to verify my identity and uploaded my driver's license as requested. I confirmed my registration with Identity. Since then, I have been unable to certify for benefits. The Verify ID site stated I would be contacted within 10 days, but it has been 7 weeks since May 2nd. Despite calling and emailing weekly, I have received no response from the Department of Labor. Additionally, when I tried to file a new claim on June 3rd, I received confirmation NJS[redacted]9 for a claim type called Reassertion dated May 30th. Can you assist me in reinstating my benefits? Thank you.

I have been unemployed since January 18, [redacted], and faced difficulties filing a claim online due to authentication issues. Despite multiple attempts to contact the authorities and escalating the issue, I finally succeeded in filing a claim on June 8, [redacted]. However, when checking the claim status, an old claim from [redacted] appears, and I have not received any communication or a debit card from NJ Unemployment. I am concerned about certifying the first claim on June 23, [redacted], with the online schedule. I urgently need to know the current status of my claim.
