Hello, I am a homeowner at [redacted] Patricia Avenue, Colonia, NJ [redacted]. My phone number is [redacted]. I have encountered a significant issue. A person, who is the father of my granddaughter (for whom I have custody), is using my address for unemployment purposes. He moves from place to place and currently stays with a friend at [redacted] 9th Avenue, Roselle, NJ. Despite my requests, he has refused to remove my address. His company is temporarily closed, and I do not receive any child support from him. I have been caring for his daughter since she was 6 months old; she is now 6 years old. I also care for the child's mother, who is in the process of applying for permanent disability. With two dependents to support on my own while being on permanent disability, I am struggling. It is important to note that the child Gizelle does not live with him, and he provides no support. I suspect he may be claiming her on his taxes. I am unable to qualify for certain benefits due to how my disability income is viewed by the government. I am planning to contact the child support agency to establish child support. Please do not provide him with any funds for children as he is not fulfilling his responsibilities. Thank you for your attention. Best regards, Suzanne K.

I was denied unemployment six months ago, but now due to the current crisis, I find myself unemployed again. When trying to reapply using my old registration information, I was denied even though I meet all the criteria. Despite updating my phone number, they still scheduled a phone appointment using my old number. It's frustrating not being able to speak to a person and noticing they are referencing my old claim instead of the new one. I am unsure where I went wrong in the process. Should I have registered with a new email address? The question and answer section made it seem like my updated information was saved correctly.

I am having trouble applying for unemployment benefits. I received benefits last year from April to October, following which I started a new job. Unfortunately, due to the impact of the coronavirus, I lost my job through no fault of my own. At my previous job, I worked more than 50 hours per week and earned close to $[redacted] weekly with a W-4 form. Now that I am unemployed, struggling to pay rent, and facing difficulties filing for unemployment benefits, the system is not allowing me to complete my claim. I have attempted to use a different email address but to no avail. It insists that I speak with a representative to finalize the claim. I urgently need assistance with this as I have been trying desperately for the past eight days to reach someone for help.

I submitted a claim online and received a response on March 25, [redacted]. However, due to an issue with the email format, I could only see that there were some unresolved issues. I've been waiting on hold for tech support, but the problem has not been resolved yet. Please assist me with addressing the unresolved issue. I can provide my email; however, I may not be able to read it entirely. If possible, please contact me at [redacted]. Thank you for your help.

Good morning, I have been unemployed since 03/06/[redacted] due to Covid-19. I've been trying tirelessly to file for unemployment every day, using both the online and phone systems. On the website, it tells me they can't create my account, and I've included a screenshot of the error. When I try by phone, I answer all the questions, am placed on hold to speak with a representative, but end up getting disconnected after hours of waiting. I understand things are chaotic, but there must be a solution. I reached out to NJ unemployment via email but have not received any response. I'm living paycheck to paycheck with no money to spare.

I submitted a claim on 03/26/20 due to computer issues. My name is Howard Edelstein, and the last four digits of my Social Security number are [redacted]. I need to remove incorrect employment information. I used to work for HR Service Group LLC, which I left a while ago. Currently, I only work one day a week for Douglas Gelber DMD LLC and I am not filing for that job. My primary focus is on filing for Uber, where I worked four days a week from 06-24-19 to 03-16-19. Due to COVID-19, I had to stop driving for Uber because of health concerns for myself and my family's well-being. It was too risky to be around passengers who were coughing and sneezing in my car all day. I have attempted to make corrections over the phone without success. Thank you.

I submitted a claim on 03/26/20 due to computer issues. My name is Howard Edelstein, and the last four digits of my Social Security number are [redacted]. I need to remove incorrect employment information from my claim. These include HR Service Group LLC, which I left some time ago, and Douglas Gelber DMD LLC, where I work only one day a week and do not want to include. I was actively driving for Uber four days a week from 06/24/19 to 03/16/20 but had to stop due to health concerns related to COVID-**. I am only filing for Uber and Lyft during the pandemic to avoid health risks. I have been attempting to correct this over the phone but have been unable to get through. Thank you.

I filed a claim on 03/26/19 because my computer was giving me issues. My name is Howard E., and my last four Social Security digits are [redacted]. I want to remove other past jobs under Employment Information: HR Service Group LLC, which I left a while ago, and Douglas Gelber DMD LLC, where I work once a week but am not filing for. I am filing for Uber, where I worked four days a week from 06/24/19 to 03/16/20. Due to COVID-**, I had to prioritize my health and my family's by not picking up passengers who were sick in my car. It was too risky to be exposed all day. I have tried to call to correct this over the phone but couldn't get through. Thank you. I would like Uber and Lyft listed as my only employment information.

I'm Maythee Moreno, and this is my first time applying for unemployment due to the business closure from the coronavirus. As a server, we are on furlough because of the pandemic. While filling out my unemployment application with numerous questions, I encountered a problem midway. Despite trying to call for assistance, no one was available to help. Now, when attempting to claim my benefits, it says they are not payable. I'm feeling overwhelmed and stressed about what steps to take next, especially since I could not reach anyone by calling. My claimant ID is [redacted]40, and I have already received my Bank of America prepaid card. After my initial claim, I received an email instructing me to call the Reemployment Call Center if certain notifications were not received within 7 business days, but I've been unsuccessful in reaching anyone. Please, I need urgent help with this situation.

I have attempted to certify my benefits twice, and I have a confirmation number of [redacted][redacted] indicating that "your claim is not payable at this time." I made a mistake and did not follow the COVID-19 instructions for one question when I filed. My claim ID is [redacted]32, and I've been unemployed since March 15th. I've been checking online and calling every day to access my benefits to pay my bills. Although my claim is marked as not payable, I don't understand the reason. Despite my efforts to contact the reemployment center, I haven't been successful in getting assistance. I'm juggling this issue along with a mortgage deferment for three months. The system advises reaching out to the reemployment center if I'm unsure why my claim is not payable, but my attempts to contact them have been fruitless. I urgently need help in this matter. Thank you and stay safe. Best regards, D. LaRusso

My last day of work was on 3/17, and due to COVID-19, I filed that night. I received a confirmation number in my email. I got a letter in the mail stating the weekly benefits amount and when to claim next. I was only able to claim the first week, but all subsequent weeks are not allowing me to claim benefits. I haven't received any payment for the first week yet, but I was able to submit my claim for that week. I've been trying to contact unemployment for days, checking online every morning with no success. I'm wondering if the issue might be my maiden name "Castles" on my W2, while I filed with my married name "Randazzo." Could this be the reason for the payment delay? Contact information: [redacted] Email: [redacted] I've been attempting to claim my weekly benefits during the specified time slots (8-9 am and after 4 pm) but haven't received any payment yet.

Hello, I submitted my claim for weekly unemployment benefits on Sunday, 3/29/20 at 1:00 PM, following the instructions provided. While filing, I encountered a question regarding actively seeking work, to which I responded "No" due to my employment termination related to COVID-19. I am waiting for the situation to stabilize before seeking new employment as my previous employer plans to recall me once the crisis eases. I recently received an email stating that my claim is currently not payable. Upon further investigation, I discovered that my response to the mentioned question may have led to this denial. According to the guidelines on the NJ unemployment website, individuals in my circumstances should answer "Yes" if waiting to be recalled or delaying job search due to a natural emergency. I still face financial hardship for the week of 3/22/20 - 3/28/20 with no income. I rely on these benefits for survival. Can I rectify my answer to receive benefits for the past week? I meet all other eligibility criteria; however, a single incorrect response impacts my claim. Thank you for your assistance. Stay safe. -Prapti

I am experiencing issues with my unemployment claim and benefits in New Jersey. When I tried to claim my weekly benefits online, I received an error message stating it could not be processed and to call the Unemployment Center. Upon calling, I was unable to get through due to high call volume. I proceeded to claim my benefits over the phone, answering all the required questions, including confirming my part-time work hours. However, at the end of the process, I received a message thanking me for claiming weeks 3/17 and 3/28 but stating that they could not process or send money at this time. I am seeking assistance and need to speak to a live representative to address this issue promptly. Thank you for your help. Kenneth E.

I set up an account to apply for unemployment insurance on 03/28/[redacted]. The next day, I received an email with a form I needed to complete, but when I clicked on the Claimant Form link, I entered the wrong information three times and it said the link was no longer valid. Yesterday when I called, the representative couldn't assist me in accessing the form online and suggested I file over the phone for my weekly benefits in the future. I would prefer to continue using the online system for my benefits. Could you help me regain access to the form link, or should I create a new online account to access it? If I need to use a specific phone number for my weekly benefits, how can I update my contact information to use a different phone number? I appreciate any assistance you can provide. Thank you.

I applied for unemployment benefits in Pennsylvania but was informed that I didn't have enough hours to claim. The representative advised me to close the claim to file in New Jersey. However, after filing in New Jersey, I discovered that the Pennsylvania claim was still active. I was instructed to contact Pennsylvania to cancel the claim and adjust the weeks I had filed. Now, I have been attempting to contact New Jersey unemployment for a week and a half to resolve the issue. My claim shows $0 in credits, and I'm unable to file a new claim due to the existing one. I'm facing challenges trying to reopen my claim.

I applied for unemployment benefits in Pennsylvania, but was informed that I did not have enough hours to qualify. Initially, a representative said they would close the claim so I could apply in New Jersey. However, a New Jersey representative later explained that the Pennsylvania claim was still active. I was advised to contact Pennsylvania to cancel the claim and adjust the filing dates. After resolving the Pennsylvania claim, I have been attempting to reach New Jersey unemployment for over a week to address the issue. I am hoping to resolve this soon as my claim credits amount to $*. The website is not allowing me to file a new claim due to the existing one, causing some difficulty with reopening the claim.
