Antonio DeRosa*** Hallock Pl*Armonk, NY ******Cell (***) ***-*****Email A*****@***.com**Account Number **************VIN *JGED*EB*JA*********** AMG ** (GLE**C*)**Dealer*Mercedes-Benz of New Rochelle**Dear Mercedes Benz,**Just as background information, I have purchased numerous brand new Mercedes Benz’s, as has my wife and family (of which would be different account numbers that can be provided if needed), and the firms I work for is also part of your fleet program as well. That being said, I purchased (leased) a semi-brand new AMG** in early November **** for my wife to use with my twin six year old’s. I say semi-new for the simple fact that the owner of the dealership had used the car for **** miles at which time we acquired the vehicle. In the eight months we have the vehicle we had six tire replacements. Now while I am willing to assume that even if my wife is a hard driver (which she is not), I might be able to see or assume responsibility for one or maybe even two events in seven months. But six is mind boggling and a cause for concern over safety. More importantly, this is a well-known issue for this car as communicated by several of your dealerships and tire shops who have serviced the vehicle. The New Rochelle and Greenwich CT dealerships have told us they get plenty of tire replacements for this car, and the service shops as well. I believe I had Mercedes dealership replace *-* of the tires with service shops near where the car was incapacitated replace the rest. It is now at the point that the tire is out of stock and difficult to obtain as the demand for these tires outpace the supply because of the issue. **This past Saturday we returned to the dealership where we purchased the vehicle looking to come to some sort of a resolution to a serious problem. First they mention the tire is out of stock (shocking). As me and my wife are now very concerned for safety as I don’t want my kids in a dangerous situation if and when my wife gets another tire blowout, we thought it best to get a different car with different tires. Well, to cut to the chase the dealership wanted a $**,*** up front payment for a way cheaper model with monthly payments at a higher amount. This is simply intellectually insulting for something that is not our fault. While I am a reasonable man I don’t need insult added to injury. The fact is that I made a mistake by paying full price for the car without any discount whatsoever except for a $*** discount for it being slightly used. To whom it may concern, I will not get racked over the coals twice. The dealership is simply looking to cash in on a vulnerable situation and that is simply disgraceful. I would rather put the car in my garage and get my wife a brand new Porsche and pay for two cars rather than what was offered and presented. When I left the dealership with utter distain the manger proceeded to follow me and my family outside when he than offered a loaner car. Upon them delivering the car on Monday, and after me paying another $*** for a new tire, they also delivered the car dirty of which my wife completely lost confidence in the Mercedes Benz name and the service we once enjoyed. I regret going to New Rochelle and should have stayed in Manhattan purchasing cars from your corporate dealership. **This is a dangerous situation and a safety concern for my family. This is a well-known issue and I need some sort of resolution. As I already mentioned, I am a reasonable man and a loyal customer, but cannot be insulted any further. Should you not wish to assist in rectifying the situation then kindly advise as soon as possible as I will seek other options. **It is now approaching ** hours since I called Mercedes Benz Corporate to lodge a complaint and have heard nothing but deafening silence.
