Hello. I would like to know what your policy is in regard to items purchased that do not have all of the parts. I recently purchased a snowblower at Rice Lake Menards. The snowblower was the last one there and was the one on display. They had to take the handlebars off so it would fit in my vehicle and they loaded it for me. I took the blower to Hayward as a gift for my son. When he tried to put the handlebars back on it he discovered * bolts with the large wing nuts and a part that connects the cable to the machine was missing. I called Menards and was asked a lot of questions about the parts numbers. There was nothing in the paperwork that listed the parts by number. My son called them and they said they would call back. That didn't happen, so he called them again. They gave him a number for the company that makes the blower and told him to contact them. The company sent him something listing the part numbers so then they were able to order them. Now they have sent notice that those parts are back ordered! This was a $*** machine. I cannot believe that your policy would be to tell the customer to make these calls to get the parts! The machine has not been used, no gas put in it, and we will not do that until it is usable. I will be bringing it back to the store in Rice Lake if the parts don't arrive soon. I just cannot understand why the store didn't call the company and get the missing parts! The machine was on display and assembled so I don't understand why these parts are missing.
