After mom's last hospitalization, we were told she must have someone wth her**-** we have certified CNA's with her ** hours a day in her home since none of us live in her town. They help her by getting her out of bed, to the bedside toilet, preparing meals, making sure she keeps hydrated, checking her feet for swelling and legs for weeping as she has congestive heart failure and COPD (is on oxygen) Breathing is difficult so she does little or no standing. She was put into a PATH " hospice" program through Palmetto Health Richland to prevent future hospitalizations and a nurse it's her twice a week. Does Medicare pay for any sitters in these circumstances? Her name is June Suttles Davis, bd *******, and her Neeucare number is ID: ***-**-****-A.
