Lufthansa needs to let me select seats for my flight with no further charge, as I bought the level of service that includes seat selection.

select seats as I bought the level of service that includes seat selection ... Through Travelocity, I booked a United flight that is operated by Lufthansa for my daughter. I bought the level of service that includes seat selection because she is prone to motion sickness and it helps to sit in an aisle seat with a clear line of sight to the front of the plane. *The problem is that neither Travelocity nor United could display seat maps so I could not select seats. The United website sent me to Lufthansa. On the Lufthansa website I can see and select seats, but they are charging for them, when seat selection is included with my level of service. They are charging for any seat, not just 'extra legroom" or preferred locations. I have called Travelocity and United, but neither could help me. Travelocity says they are not allowed to call the airlines and United says that Lufthansa has complete control of the flight and is not sharing the seatmap with them. Lufthansa is not taking calls right now - the message says "if you require personal service please call at another time."*When I spoke to the United rep, I said, "so I am just not getting a service I paid for," and she said yes, this is the case.*I would like Lufthansa to call me and help me select seats with no charge.
They are not sharing information. Travelocity is not allowed to call the airlines, and United had no control of its own flight because Lufthansa is the operator and is not sharing the relevant information, in this case, a seat map.
Lufthansa could call me with the ability to select seats for no extra charge.
I have booked with Travelocity before with minimal fuss. I have not directly booked with United or Lufthansa. I expect to get the service I paid for.
