On July 3, my granddaughter Lisl B. flew as an unaccompanied minor from Munich to LA. Her luggage was not loaded onto the airplane. I have been attempting to get information regarding this issue through your [redacted] number. The File Reference Number is LAX LH [redacted]. Despite being given reassurances that her luggage would be delivered, it has not arrived. I was provided with a shipping number [redacted]90, but FedEx informed me it was incorrect. Today, after numerous attempts to resolve this, the call got disconnected while on hold. The situation is causing a lot of stress as Lisl is without essential items. I am 71 years old and the stress is taking a toll on me. I urge Lufthansa to address this matter promptly.

I require assistance with processing a refund for the following tickets ([redacted][redacted], [redacted][redacted], [redacted][redacted]) in Bogota. Upon request from Lufthansa, I have gathered all necessary documentation to return the funds to the travel agency since the credit card I originally used for payment was cancelled. Although my agency confirmed that the refund was approved, they have yet to receive the funds. Despite contacting the bank, no payment has been acknowledged. I have been requesting a refund certificate from Lufthansa for a month to trace the funds. The Lufthansa office in Bogota has been unhelpful with no staff present to assist. After calling, I received no explanation. I urgently seek assistance through this platform. Thank you, Mr. O.

I used Travelocity to book a United flight operated by Lufthansa for my daughter. I opted for the service level that includes seat selection due to her motion sickness. Unfortunately, neither Travelocity nor United displayed seat maps for me to select seats. United redirected me to Lufthansa's website, where I can see and choose seats, but they are charging despite the included service level. They are charging for all seats, not just "extra legroom" or preferred locations. Despite contacting Travelocity and United, I haven't found a solution. According to United, Lufthansa controls the seat map and isn't sharing it. Currently, I am unable to reach Lufthansa by phone. A United representative confirmed that I am not receiving the paid service. I am hoping Lufthansa can contact me to assist with seat selection free of charge.

I experienced a technical error on the LH website which led to my booking being canceled. Despite accepting the modifications to my reservation, it was still canceled. I have proof from my search history that I accepted the changes. I have tried contacting LH via phone, email, and even in person at the airport without success. The Chatbot suggested purchasing a new ticket and getting reimbursed for the price difference by LH. I would like to confirm if this solution is valid.

Good Afternoon, I have a booking with Lufthansa under booking code: W975GC. Since booking in [redacted], I have gotten married and need to change one passenger's name from Kim Painter to Kim Read. I contacted your service department earlier today, but after 30 minutes on the phone, the call got disconnected. I am unable to make the name change myself online. Could you please update the booking to show the names on the tickets as READ/GRAHAM MR & READ/KIM MRS? Kim Read's passport is in the name of Read. Thank you.

During our recent trip to Germany, my wife and I encountered an issue with our upgraded Premium Economy booking. Initially booked in Economy, I upgraded to Premium Economy before our departure on 19.06.[redacted] to include additional checked luggage. Departing from BOS, we were permitted 2 checked pieces of luggage each. However, upon check-in for our return flight in Frankfurt, we were only allowed one piece per person despite our Premium Economy booking code (UM5U9X). The agent indicated that because our original booking was in Economy, we needed to pay for the extra bag. Given the upgrade was made prior to our trip at an additional cost, I assumed the two checked bags were included. Regrettably, I paid 84.44 eur ([redacted].00) for each additional piece of luggage. I kindly request a reimbursement for this expense. Thank you. Sincerely, Robert G.

Dear Lufthansa Customer Service, I need help to reschedule my flight from LAX to Denmark. My original flight was supposed to depart on July 6, [redacted], with Itinerary R.L. Q12FPW on Lufthansa, reservation R. L. NRHLBH. I was alerted during check-in about Covid-19 flight restrictions. Prior to my July 6th flight, I had an exposure to the Delta variant of Covid-19 causing a fever. Following Lufthansa's online procedure, I stopped check-in and contacted Santa Monica UCLA Urgent Care for advice. Urgent Care recommended I quarantine until my symptoms subside and I get tested for Covid. Despite my efforts, I didn't receive a response from Lufthansa until 14:14, which was too late for my flight. The reply I got was a generic message stating they would contact me, which never happened. I tried calling multiple times but couldn't reach a representative. Considering I followed Covid guidelines and medical advice, I am requesting help to rebook my LAX to Denmark flight using my existing ticket. Thank you for your assistance. Sincerely, Parviz Hormozi

Good morning, my check-in number is V6JE2E. I, Abiodun A., was denied boarding on 14/07/21 due to transit visa issues despite being advised by the German embassy that I did not need one for a 1-hour layover in Frankfurt. Only my daughter was allowed to board. Lufthansa's customer service instructed me to contact my travel agent as they would hold my ticket until July 31st, [redacted]. However, my travel agent was unhelpful and insisted on a written document from Lufthansa before reissuing my ticket. I am struggling with the situation and do not want to lose the value of my ticket. Can you assist me with obtaining the necessary documentation from Lufthansa to resolve this issue? Thank you. Kind regards, Abiodun A.

Dear Sirs, I would like to update you that the correct baggage tag number is LH495088, as mentioned in my report. The previous number was mistakenly entered for my baggage to Madrid, which I tried to rectify at the airport but was assured that everything was in order. I hope this correction does not cause any inconvenience for any of us and ensures the safe arrival of my luggage. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Kind regards, Marija K. Trivunac

Subject: Urgent Refund or Ticket Voucher Follow-Up Needed for Reservation PFECWW I am reaching out to address the unresolved matter of my refund or ticket voucher related to Reservation PFECWW. Since our unplanned offboarding at Delhi Airport on June 10, [redacted], almost two months have passed without any resolution despite my continuous efforts. After consulting with the German embassy and providing necessary documentation at the airport, I followed up with your customer service team multiple times reconfirming our ability to travel without a transit visa. Voice recordings of these conversations are available upon request. Due to the unexpected circumstances, our Russia visa has since expired, causing immense stress as our jobs in Oman are at risk, with no income for a month. I have diligently corresponded with your office in India since the incident, but a satisfactory solution remains elusive. I would appreciate your prompt assistance in issuing an open ticket or credit voucher for the full amount paid, considering the challenging circumstances and uncertainties brought about by the ongoing pandemic. Please understand the significant impact this situation has had on me and my wife, and I sincerely hope for a swift and positive resolution from your end. Your understanding and cooperation during these difficult times would be greatly appreciated. Warm regards,

Hello, I am Lucian Bogdan Baciu. On July 16th, I had a flight from Oslo to Miami with Lufthansa, booking reservation WZYQE2. Upon check-in, I was informed that tourists were not allowed to enter the US, preventing me from boarding. After confirming this with airport customer service, I contacted Lufthansa twice to request a voucher for an alternate flight for my holiday plans. However, I was told that due to a note by the check-in staff stating I missed the flight (which I dispute), Lufthansa could not assist me. I am seeking guidance on next steps and resolution with Lufthansa. Thank you, Lucian Bogdan Baciu

Refund Request for Booking VOL JFLD6C under Lucile G. Hello, I was surprised to notice that my payment card was charged €81.21 on July 16, [redacted], without my authorization. I did not contact you to modify my daughter's ticket on July 15, nor did I provide my card information on that day. All the arrangements were made by Europassistance on behalf of your company. Unauthorized use of my card details occurred, as I had only authorized a €50 supplement payment on June 30, [redacted]. It is imperative to adhere to the General Data Protection Regulation by respecting customer consent regarding storing card information. Kindly delete my and my daughter's card details promptly. Please refund the amount of €81.21 via email without delay. Failure to respond will lead me to escalate this matter to the appropriate authorities. Sincerely, Patricia G.

Subject: Seeking Compensation and Refund for Cancelled Flight I am Dev Yadav. I made a booking for a round trip flight from Warsaw to Delhi and back. The return flight to Warsaw on 24th May [redacted] was crucial for me. However, Lufthansa canceled my flight without offering any alternatives. Despite numerous attempts to reach out to their customer service from my Indian number, I was left unassisted. I was forced to incur a significant cost of approximately 1700PLN for international calls from my Polish number to contact their service in Poland, as they repeatedly disconnected me or kept me on hold for extended periods. Eventually, I had to secure a last-minute flight with another airline (KLM) at a high cost. I have attached the invoice for this replacement flight as well. I kindly request compensation for the losses I suffered due to the actions of Lufthansa: 1. International call expenses to Lufthansa approximately 1700PLN. 2. Rescheduling train ticket from Warsaw to Poznan 54.59PLN. 3. Cost of the airline ticket [redacted].96PLN. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. For any additional information, queries, or documentation required, please feel free to contact me. Thank you. Yours sincerely, Dev Yadav

Dear Lufthansa, I had booked a ticket for the flights from Phuket to Bangkok, then Frankfurt to Duesseldorf on July 22, [redacted]. The ticket number is [redacted][redacted] with the flight code RQNV8X. Unfortunately, the first flight from Phuket to Bangkok with Thai Airways was canceled, and I was rebooked on a Smile Air flight with a 10-hour layover before the connecting flight to Frankfurt. Later, I was informed by Smile Air that this flight was also canceled. As I had important appointments in Germany and no way to get to Bangkok, I had to book an international flight directly from Phuket to Frankfurt with another airline. I promptly cancelled the booked Lufthansa flight in the information email from Lufthansa stating that the Phuket to Bangkok flight was canceled, and I requested a refund. I would like to inquire about the status of the refund process. The refunded amount can be transferred to the account in Thailand that I used for payment or to my account in Germany.

On the 25th of March [redacted], I made a booking with Lufthansa to fly from Lagos to Dallas on the 4th of June [redacted]. After two weeks, the booking agent informed me that due to COVID-19, non-US citizens were not allowed to enter the US through Germany. Subsequently, I requested a refund and booked with Qatar Airways for the same itinerary. The agent mentioned the refund would take three months to process, which I agreed to. Now, after four months and having completed my trip with Qatar Airways, the agent informed me that Lufthansa will only offer a ticket for future travel instead of a refund. Since I cannot predict when I will next travel to the US, this arrangement is inconvenient considering I did not cancel or refuse to use the ticket initially. I am puzzled as to why I am not eligible for a refund given the circumstances. I appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you, Stephen E. O.
