Get an updated copy of my license. ... I have called several times on multiple occasions, and I can promise you this new system is the worst thing the LA DMV has ever done. Holy $h*t!!! I have had to call six to seven times to get more than “due to high call volume we cannot accept your call at this time...dial tone” which takes a little over a minute each time. Then the three times I have managed to get through the system hangs up on you again at fifteen and a half minutes of wait time. What a way to keep your metrics good OMV. When I get through I will be asking for the highest level supervisor available, **** I might call my congressman at this rate. GARBAGE!!!**If you get past sixteen minutes of hold time keep going! You’re almost there. At about thirty someone picks up. Once you have someone on the line things get easier. **I received a follow up call today from a supervisor as requested. She was pleasant and appologetic about their new system, and assured me that expansion is on the horizon. Obviously funding is where they are falling short. My congressman and representative are most likely going to hear about this. Customs nor employees should have to deal with this.
The system dumps your call even if you’re willing to wait.
