I went in on the morning of Thursday, April * to get a blood draw for ACTH testing. There was only one person there, a certain middle-aged woman and my heart sank when I saw her because I’ve dealt with her once or twice before when I’ve gone in and she’s always been very rude and abrupt. This time was no exception she was once again very rude and abrupt while I was signing in. She wasn’t wearing a name tag at all, but it was *:**am on April * and she was the only employee there at the Issaquah Gilman Ave location. *When she took me in the back to do the blood draw, I informed her that I have a connective tissue disorder and requested that she use the smallest needle (which is the butterfly). She completely ignored my request, and not only that while she was poking around trying to find a vein, she did something that no one had in my *** years of blood tests has ever done before. She rolled up a cloth pad, and put it underneath my elbow. Then she proceeded to lean on my forearm which overextended my elbow and sprained it. I was so shocked all I could say was ouch. I was afraid to say anything more as she had already been so rude and now had hurt me, seemingly on purpose, and I was afraid she would hurt me more. She drew the blood and then just said “you’re done, you can go.” Didn’t even walk me back to the front or anything, just dismissed me. It’s now four days later and my elbow is still painful. This woman should not be working in any capacity where she is dealing with the public. If you look up Yelp reviews on this location, all the bad reviews are about this one woman! She needs to be either fired or have a superior closely supervising her when she works, she should not be working alone, I definitely got the vibe that she gets off on power and control and enjoys hurting people!
