The issue in GetHuman-arminsha's own words
Dear LA Fitness Adminiatration,**I signed up for month to month at L.A. Fitness in Springfield Virginia over about * years ago. I regret to admit that I never went to utilize my membership even once. Also, in the midst of this agreement, I got a new bank card because of fraudulent activity. One of your agents got in contact with me due to non payment after year **. I had informed her that I would like to cancel the membership because I never once made it to the gym. There was of course resistance but at the end of the discussion she had agreed to cancelling my membership of **.***month. I logged into my online banking just a few moments ago and realized that your organization is still charging me and it's been over * years. My official complaint as of then and now is about why are you still charging me for nothing. It was already communicated and agreed upon. $**.** * at least ** additional months of non authorized unused services and payments is the minimum you folks owe me. I cant believe that I recieve nothing from you all but a request for payment when my unauthorized acount is in delinquency, but no Bill's have ever been sent to my house to notify me of the ongoing membership. So yes, I didnt go the first ** months and didnt communicate it with anyone other than not ever using the facility.** But I did notify and submit my request to cancel with your Springfield location who promised me that they will remove it by the end of the month. Now it has been well over * year and I am still being charged **.***m for something i explicitly declined on a few occasions. So yes i expect a refund of minimum for those extra * years. Someone really doesnt like letting go of their accounts. I am a Paramedic, I work odd hours and have had many other convenient free facilities at my disposal. I grew up in Springfield and was working in Springfield when I became a member. I am not making an obscene request since i has communicated my position to every person I could via telecom and in person through the form which I filled out over * years ago. I am deeply disapointed in the blatant disregard and the constant charges that I have been facing even when the requests were made. If you would like to refund me for the entire * year period that is your call and likely the appropriate response. But again I'll eat the ** months since I failed to go or communicate my position. But the remaining period needs to be refunded right away please. I have enough on my plate as it is and this is absolutely poor customer service, odd business practice, and stealing from my pocket and ongoing. Please give me back what is rightfully mine and let's not drag this out any further. **Respectfully,**Armin Shafiee****-***-**** direct
