I purchased a mixer, model KSM***PSER, serial *W********, from Everything Kitchens, on May *, ****. My product is registered. When I turned it on it made a loud "shrieking*chirping" sound and wouldn't lock. I went on-line and fixed the lock problem myself. KitchenAid has a very good tutorial for that. I also looked into the sound issue, and followed some advice about running the machine, gradually advancing through all speeds until the "shrieking*chirping" stopped. Eventually, it did! This took about ** minutes. However, it threw out a few drops of oil. It worked beautifully for a week or so, but the noise started up again. I have run it for periods of time, and have had oil come out again. It doesn't sound right, and I don't like the thought of oil coming out of the machine. **This is my second KitchenAid stand mixer. I owned a classic model for ** years and loved it. I told everyone that it was my favorite tool in my kitchen, and have owned (and been pleased with) other KitchenAid appliances. I so looked forward to getting the slightly larger, stronger, newer Artisan model, and hope this issue will be resolved.**I would like to have this repaired or replaced. Thank you. **Lois Reimer
