I sent the following e-mail on Aug. *, and received an immediate automatic reply but have heard nothing since:**"Gentlemen:**I am writing about a problem with a pair of your K-Swiss tennis sneakers. It is a USA size **, model Bigshot Light *.*, *********. I had to stop using them because the material on the inside at the back of both heels had frayed extensively. I replaced them recently with a similar pair, ******-***-M. Obviously. I am a fan of your sneakers. **Based on the condition of the first pair, which was not used a great deal and appears to me to be very good except for the fraying, I wondered whether there may have been a defect in the manufacture. This is where I would like your help. Would it be appropriate for me to send pictures to you of the damaged pair for you to determine whether the problem warrants a replacement at no cost, or whether it is normal wear and tear?**Thank you for your consideration.**Sincerely,**Marty Rothbard****** Tamarindo Drive*The Villages, FL **********-***-****"**Perhaps you would want me to send the original sneakers to you for your evaluation?
