I recently purchased a used [redacted] Jeep Grand Cherokee with [redacted] miles and discovered that it comes with a 3-year [redacted]-mile warranty. Wanting to ensure that I make use of this warranty, I called two Jeep dealers to schedule a complete inspection before it expires since I am now at [redacted] miles. Sadly, both dealers were unhelpful and dismissive of my request, even when I offered to pay for the inspection. Their attitude has left me questioning my decision to buy a Jeep, as I believe good service should be important to a brand like Jeep. It's disappointing to encounter such uncooperative behavior when trying to look out for the maintenance of my vehicle. - Scott W.

I have been financing my [redacted] Grand Cherokee Jeep, which I bought at Kelly Jeep Chrysler Broadway in Lynnfield, MA on 8/16/18. I have been maintaining the vehicle properly, but I've had major issues. The first problem was on Jun 22, [redacted], with a strange noise, which was fixed at Dan O’Brien in Methuen, MA for $[redacted].06. Then on 12/01/20, I had another issue with the heater, costing $[redacted].11. The latest incident was the vehicle shutting down on the highway, towed to Dan O’Brien for $[redacted], and repairs costing $1,[redacted]. This Jeep has had repeated problems that put me at risk. Despite reaching out to Kelly Jeep multiple times with no response, I still have not received assistance. I am disappointed in Jeep as I've always believed them to be reliable. I'm seeking help in getting a new Jeep without these persistent issues. It's concerning that a new vehicle has so many defects, which makes me question the inspection process at the dealership. I need a resolution and a safe vehicle. Disappointed, Addonay NR

On 2/14/22, I received my [redacted] Jeep Grand Cherokee L, which was brand new with 21 miles on it. Unfortunately, the connected services "box" displayed an error code from the start, indicating a need for dealer service. The dealership had my Jeep for 48 hours and determined that the box is defective and requires replacement. I'm disappointed that neither the dealer nor Jeep corporate can provide an estimate for when the replacement box will be delivered and installed. Despite leaving for Florida soon and being away for three weeks, I have no choice but to drive the Jeep without access to connected services. Although I understand the supply chain challenges, as a loyal Jeep owner, I am dissatisfied with this situation. I appreciate the effort of the dealer, Sam Leman in Morton, IL, but I am frustrated with the issue, considering my history of owning Jeeps.

I purchased a [redacted] Jeep Gladiator in February. Unfortunately, the engine stopped working a week later, leaving me stranded in Iowa. My car has been at the Jeep dealership in Iowa City for maintenance, and it has been nearly three weeks since I have been without my new vehicle. I am now back in Illinois using a loaner from Iowa while my car remains in Iowa. Despite reaching out to Jeep multiple times, I have not received any follow-up on my case. The customer service representatives on the phone seem unhelpful and have not provided any assistance or callbacks as promised.

I was in a head-on collision with a tree back in March. Unfortunately, my airbag didn't deploy, and I sustained several injuries including torn ligaments in my thorax, a possible heart issue, a messed up left arm, and knee injuries. The accident was caused by loose gravel on the road, and I was the only one involved. Despite these serious injuries, I haven't received any compensation for further treatment. My name is Patricia S., and I purchased the [redacted] Jeep in [redacted] which was totaled in the accident. I'm now facing a $22,[redacted] debt for another car while living on a fixed income with other health issues. I strongly believe that someone should take responsibility for the airbag failure, as it could have prevented or minimized my injuries. The situation is causing me a lot of stress, and I hope to receive some sort of settlement to help cover my debt and ongoing health issues.

I acquired a pre-owned [redacted] Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit a month ago, and my experience has been a nightmare. The car's computer systems have been compromised by a hacker, leading to multiple electrical issues. Recently, the vehicle shut down on the I-70 interstate during rush hour in Dallas, putting my life in danger. Despite suggestions to involve a lawyer, I wanted to give Jeep a chance to resolve this situation. I believe the best course of action is to have the Jeep Grand Cherokee taken back, and the loan I took to purchase it cleared. I hope Jeep will consider replacing it with a Jeep Grand Cherokee Wagoneer to help restore my trust in the brand. Thank you for addressing this matter. - S.H.

I need your help regarding my Botswana-registered Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland from Molapo Crossing Dealership. The vehicle is still under warranty, with Engine number: 1C4RJFGGXKC839598 and Chassis number: KC839598. It was serviced at 27,510km on 16 March [redacted]. Although not yet at 30,000km, it showed a 'change oil' message from 25,000km. The dealership found a leaking water pump and ordered a replacement, initially from South Africa then on backorder. I received a courtesy vehicle only on 22 May [redacted], over a month later. I am disappointed with this service during the warranty period and concerned about the time taken for a small part like the water pump. I am worried about potential future issues outside of the warranty period. I would appreciate a refund and return of the vehicle due to these ongoing problems. Thank you.

Hello, I am Benjamin Bolaane. I purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland from Molapo Motors Dealership in Botswana (Registration B501 BMO). The vehicle has traveled 27,[redacted] km. The Chassis No. is 1C4RJFGGXKC839598 and the Engine Number is KC839598. I brought the vehicle in for its second service on 16 March [redacted] due to an oil change notification appearing early at 25,[redacted] km. During the service assessment, it was discovered that the water pump was leaking, rendering the vehicle unfit for the road. The car has been at the garage since then, and after multiple requests, I was given a courtesy vehicle on 22 April [redacted]. Although I was initially told the water pump was being sourced from South Africa, it has been delayed without a definite arrival date. This situation has eroded my trust in the brand, and I request a refund and return of my vehicle. Thank you.

I purchased the Flat Tow wiring kit for my [redacted] Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk, as directed by the Buick dealer when I bought it. I got the part from a Mopar dealer in Bartow, FL. I reached out to the Jeep dealer in Pensacola to schedule the installation of the Flat Tow wiring harness part # [redacted]4AB to avoid any issues while flat towing behind my RV. Unfortunately, Hill-Kelly Dodge and Jeep in Pensacola, as well as Sandy Sansing in Milton, FL, and Foley, AL, have mentioned they do not offer this service. It has been challenging to find an authorized dealership willing to install the wiring kit as required by the dealer.

I purchased a used [redacted] Grand Cherokee three years ago with only 80,[redacted] miles on it, making it the best vehicle I've ever owned with features like leather seats, sunroof, and heated and cooled seats throughout. Recently, during a trip to the American West, my car unexpectedly collapsed while turning into a parking space in Butte, Montana, leaving it irreparable according to the body shop. Despite it being a high-end luxury SUV, the insurance claims manager is hesitant to provide any settlement due to it being classified as "normal wear and tear" without a collision. I am concerned about my options moving forward in this situation. Thank you, Patrick O'Connor

Respected Sir/Ma'am, I am Biju .S from Kayamkulam and I would like to lodge a complaint regarding the Jeep service center. Recently, my car had issues with gear shifting and emitted a burning smell while running. Additionally, the gear got jammed in the morning. Upon inspection by the help center, they identified a clutch problem at the Kottayam service center (Hyson) which they stated was due to wear and tear, quoting a cost of Rs. 22,[redacted] not covered by the extended warranty. Despite having recommended Jeep cars to friends and family, I now question its reliability given the low mileage of 39,[redacted] km. I have invested in an extended 5-year warranty that now seems futile. If the repairs are not covered under warranty, I am prepared to take legal action but would prefer a swift resolution. Car Information: Car: Jeep Compass Limited Plus Car No: KL 29 Q [redacted] Color: Red (Diesel) Date of Purchase: 26/02/[redacted] Purchased from: Ernakulam (Pinnacle) Yours Respectfully, Biju .S

I purchased a [redacted] Jeep Cherokee with 54,[redacted] miles about a year ago. Recently, the Svc 4wd light turned on when I stopped at a stop sign, and I lost power to the front wheels. After taking it to a Jeep dealer, I was informed that the issue was with the ptu. Unfortunately, the part was not available, and I was quoted $4,[redacted] for the replacement. Despite preparing the funds, the part never arrived. Then, a few months later, the alternator failed, leaving me unable to afford the repair. Now, I have a $17,[redacted] vehicle parked in my driveway that I can't use, relying on others' cars. I had high hopes for my Jeep, but I feel let down. While a recall exists for a software update on the PTU, I wonder if there are any recalls addressing the actual part itself.

1. I have had ongoing issues with the compass in my car since I purchased it six months ago in August. The dealer assured me that the problem would be resolved through quarterly updates, but it has never functioned correctly. 2. Another persistent problem is with the sound system in my car. Every trip I take, the sound for my phone randomly cuts out, sometimes affecting other audio functions like the radio. This issue has caused the entire screen to freeze, requiring a restart. Despite taking the car in for this problem twice, I was told it is a glitch that would be fixed with updates. Unfortunately, after six months of owning this new car, neither the compass nor the sound issue has been resolved. These issues persist even after a previous power steering malfunction that resulted in a tow to the dealership. It is frustrating to experience so many problems with a new vehicle.

I purchased a [redacted] Jeep Grand Cherokee brand new, and I'm the sole owner. I take great care of my vehicle, storing it in a dry garage. Recently, I spotted bubbling paint on the hood. I have a Major Guard extended warranty, but they informed me that cosmetic problems like this are not covered. With only 55,[redacted] miles on the car, I am worried this may be the beginning of paint issues. Are paint bubbling concerns a common occurrence with this model? Does Jeep provide any support for this issue?

I purchased a Jeep Compass Limited Edition in February [redacted] from the Motibagh Showroom in Delhi. Since then, I have been facing constant issues with the car. After a week, the battery failed, and despite roadside assistance charging it, the problems persisted. The car has been to Shimla and Rishikesh, where it exhibited issues like a burning smell, engine stalling, and various error messages popping up. Despite multiple service center visits, including at Mohali, Chandigarh, Kirti Nagar, and Motinagar in Delhi, the problems have not been resolved. The most recent incident on May 30, [redacted], occurred in Delhi, where the car continued to show messages like "Service hill holder" and "Transmission Hot." These issues have left me greatly disappointed, as the service teams have been unable to identify any faults. The car, still under warranty, has faced repeated transmission and fuel pump problems, even on flat roads. I urge the company to thoroughly investigate and take serious actions to resolve these persistent issues.

I recently had a frustrating experience with Jeep's customer service. Starting on 6-12-23, I made multiple calls and spoke with several representatives. Despite being transferred multiple times and spending over an hour on the phone, I received no assistance with my faulty Nav System. The local dealership suggested a paid software update, which was unexpected for a vehicle purchased from BMW of Tampa, especially since it was barely a year old with low mileage. My loyalty to Jeep and Chrysler vehicles dates back to [redacted], but this experience has left me disappointed. Considering the long history my family has had with Jeep, I expected better service, especially for a relatively new vehicle under warranty. I hope to hear back from the dealership soon to address this issue. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Tina Berger

My [redacted] Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk experienced a breakdown on Route 81 North in Virginia. It got towed to a Jeep dealership in Bedford, Virginia. Despite the situation, I wasn't provided with a loaner, leaving me stranded. They informed me the next day that it was the PTU, but mentioned they couldn't acquire the necessary part, resulting in potential delays. To date, they still haven't offered a replacement vehicle, and it has been two weeks with my Jeep in their possession, leaving me without transportation.

I contacted the previous lease company to acquire the buyout amount for my old leased vehicle, as per the dealership's request. The dealership was supposed to pay this amount to finalize the purchase. However, the lease company now claims the dealership sent a higher buyout amount and refuses to release the vehicle's title. Despite the dealership having acquired the vehicle, the lease company continues to charge me monthly payments. I receive daily calls from the lease company, and the dealership has not taken any action to resolve the matter. I am seeking advice on how to address this issue effectively. - B. Todd

I dropped off my car in February for a routine maintenance check. I ended up paying around $[redacted] for repairs. A month or two later, my car started shaking, and the check engine light kept coming on. I took it to a local mechanic, and they found 12 error codes indicating the previous work was poorly done. The dealer where I got the work done was unresponsive, and I had to follow up multiple times to check on the status of the repairs. When I finally got my car back, it broke down less than a mile away due to the serpentine belt not being properly installed. After more back and forth with the dealer, they claimed to fix it, but I still noticed a strange smell. Eventually, I saw smoke under the hood and decided to go to a new dealership. They told me I needed an oil gasket replacement, which had already been supposedly worked on at the Jeep dealership.
