For the past few weeks, my newspaper delivery has been consistently poor. Despite multiple calls to Circulation, the issue remains unresolved. Occasionally, only one or two papers arrive on time, with the rest being delayed to the following day or missing entirely. While my subscription was extended by a week, this solution is not satisfactory. I expect to receive my paper on the day it is printed and would appreciate speaking to a local representative for assistance. Being a long-time customer, I believe it is crucial to ensure customer satisfaction, especially in the declining newspaper circulation industry. Please address this matter promptly. Thank you for your anticipated assistance. I am curious if the response will be via email or phone call and within what timeframe it will occur.

Dear Houston Chronicle, I am reaching out to request that your newspaper provide a platform for the families of feminicide victims in Mexico to share their stories. The issue of feminicide, the misogynistic killing of women by men, is a pressing concern in Mexico. Shocking statistics reveal that a woman dies every four hours due to domestic violence or gender-based violence. Tragically, many of these crimes go unpunished, perpetuating a cycle of violence and impunity. Families of victims are left to navigate their pain in a system that often fails to deliver justice. They seek to raise awareness about these senseless deaths and the urgent need for action. By amplifying their voices, we can shed light on the atrocities being committed and push for accountability. I urge your esteemed publication to provide a platform for these families to share their experiences and demand justice. By doing so, we can ensure that these victims are not forgotten and that their stories are heard. Thank you for considering this important request. Sincerely, Alma Cooper (on behalf of families of feminicide victims)

To whom it may concern, At our retirement community located at [redacted] Columbia Memorial Parkway in Kemah, TX [redacted], many long-term senior subscribers, like myself, have not received our Chronicle deliveries since Sunday, June 24th. As seniors who heavily rely on the printed word, this situation is causing us extreme frustration. We kindly request your immediate assistance in resolving this matter to uphold your reputation. Around 8-10 weeks ago, a salesperson came to my door offering a deal for weekend getaways in exchange for $[redacted] Walmart gift cards. I decided to sign up for two. Despite making payments and calling over 5 times, I have yet to receive the promised gift cards totaling $[redacted]. I spoke to a representative three weeks ago who assured me the cards were on the way, but they never arrived. I am frustrated with the lack of communication and results. Additionally, I only received three out of the eight papers promised and have not seen any refunds. I urgently need this matter resolved and expect to receive the gift cards or a refund promptly. Thank you. - K. Roth

Subject: Urgent Request to Stop Physical Newspaper Delivery To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to request immediate assistance in stopping the physical delivery of my newspaper. Despite having an online-only subscription, I have been unsuccessful in halting the paper's delivery since July 2. I have contacted your customer service representatives on multiple occasions over the past three weeks to resolve this issue to no avail. It seems there is a difficulty in getting in touch with the carrier due to the nature of my online-only account. I urgently need this matter resolved, especially before I go on vacation and do not wish to have the paper piling up in my yard. I attempted to place a vacation hold, but due to the online-only status of my account, I was unable to do so. Please address this matter promptly. My account information is as follows: Steve Nelson and/or Lisa Martin [redacted] [redacted] Oakshire Dr. Apt. A Houston, TX [redacted] Email: [redacted] Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter. Best regards, Lisa Martin

I have been experiencing ongoing problems with paper delivery. There have been numerous missed deliveries and despite my efforts to resolve the issue by contacting customer service, it remains unresolved. Promises of calls from a supervisor or district manager have not been fulfilled. While I did speak to a supervisor briefly, paper delivery only improved for three days before reverting to missed deliveries. It appears that customer service agents are unable to address the problem effectively, leaving me unable to reach anyone with the authority to address delivery issues. Additionally, I am unable to access my account online as it states the account cannot be found. My account number is [redacted].

In June, I contacted to inquire about the $20 charges on my account for March, April, and May, which increased from the previous $4 charges. Upset about this unexpected rise, I spoke with representative "Ray," who informed me that the $4/month agreement had expired. I expressed my frustration at not being notified about the increase and requested cancellation of my subscription. Ray promised to address the situation. Eventually, I agreed to receive a credit for the excess charges. To my surprise, on 07/06, I was billed $8. This unexpected charge has further disappointed me. Despite being a subscriber for over 40 years, I feel let down by the current service. I have already tried to resolve this issue, but was told the systems were down. This is my final attempt before considering cancellation. Thank you. - William H. [redacted] Florence [redacted]

I called today but was unable to find out when the craft show magazine will be in the Sunday paper. I know it typically comes out in August. I used to have the paper delivered to my elderly parents but had so many delivery issues that we had to cancel. I would appreciate it if you could inform me when we can expect to find this magazine in the Sunday paper. My parents and I, who are disabled, enjoy going to craft shows. In the past, the insert has been mailed to me, which was greatly appreciated. I will provide my address in case that option is available again. If not, please email me to notify me of the distribution date so I won't miss buying the paper. Thank you for your assistance. My address is Debbie Hills, [redacted] Cypress Corner Lane #[redacted], Houston, Texas, [redacted]. Email: [redacted] Thank you and have a great day.

Account number [redacted], [redacted] Meadow Lane. Once again, no delivery! I can only rely on receiving 2-3 out of the 5 papers we paid for. As a disabled person on a fixed income, we are careful about our expenses. I expect the paper on the due day. This is the 4th time in the past 2 weeks that I have reported this issue. There have been other missed deliveries that were not reported. We are located 15-20 minutes from town. I pay for the service, but will cancel my long-time subscription if the service does not improve. I request credits on my next bill. It is frustrating not to speak with a human when calling. Maybe the computer can find a new delivery person, but I doubt it. Contact me at [redacted]. Subscription under old number [redacted], [redacted] Meadow Lane. I prefer speaking over the phone rather than reading online. Old school here, and I appreciate human interaction.

I am a 76-year-old with mobility challenges living at [redacted] 8th St. in Sealy, TX. For five years, our newspaper has been delivered to the garage driveway on the west side facing Ward Street, where it intersects with 8th St. Unfortunately, due to steps on 8th St., we cannot access the paper there. Despite contacting customer service regularly for a month to correct this issue and explaining our situation, the paper continues to be delivered in the wrong spot. We were promised a phone call to resolve this but have heard nothing yet. If the delivery person could reach out to us, we could easily fix this problem. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated as the newspaper has become useless to us if we can't access it properly. Thank you.

I have a subscription to the Houston Chronicle for all 7 days of the week. Lately, the additional store advertisements that usually come with the paper have been missing. Yesterday, on Sunday, I bought a newspaper from the local grocery store and noticed that it had more store ads than my delivered paper. It's frustrating to pay for a newspaper subscription and not receive all the content, especially on days with extra ads. Although my husband suggests canceling the subscription, I would prefer to address this issue and ensure I get the full paper. We had delivery problems last year (never receiving the paper) which took several calls to resolve. I'm hoping this current situation can be sorted out soon without dragging on for months.

Yesterday, my son encountered a situation where he came across a man in need by the highway. The firefighters who arrived said they would take the man to a shelter, but unfortunately, they drove away without assisting further. Feeling compelled to help, my son intervened. Instead of heading to his out-of-town job, he took the man to a hotel, provided him with clothes, toiletries, and a week's stay. The man was grateful and even made a cross for my son as a token of appreciation. It is disheartening to see the system fail individuals in need. My son's small act of kindness made a significant impact on this man's life. It's moments like these that remind us of the importance of reaching out to others in need. I have a photo of them in the hotel if anyone would like to see it.

For several months now, we have been facing issues with the delivery of our newspaper. Despite multiple calls over the past two months, requesting that the paper be thrown to the southern end of our circular driveway by the tall hedges where it is more visible, the deliveries continue to be misplaced near the street. This morning, I found the paper dangerously close to the street once again. As seniors, we just want the paper to be thrown higher into the driveway where it's easily accessible. We have been loyal subscribers for many years, and it's disappointing that our requests have not been honored by the delivery person. We are not asking for the paper to be brought to our door, just to be thrown to a more suitable location. We hope this message can finally reach the delivery team and resolve this ongoing issue. Thank you. W.B. [redacted] Oceanview Dr, Seabrook, TX [redacted]

This is a request to the Online GetHuman technical department. Please remove my comments from your Public Page immediately. I reached out about delivery issues, believing I was contacting Houston Chronicle Customer Service. Upon submitting my details, I was surprised to find my comments posted publicly on a blog. I did not consent to this and thought I was sending a private email to customer service. Kindly delete my previous comment submitted this morning and this one as well. It would be helpful to clarify on your page that comments may be posted on a public blog instead of being read privately by customer service. Thank you.

I would like to cancel my subscription. I enjoy having a morning cup of coffee with a physical newspaper. However, I am disappointed with the coverage provided. The stories often seem biased and lack balance. During the recent election, there was excessive coverage favoring a specific candidate. Additionally, important local stories like the recent incident of a dog attacking school children are being overlooked. I prefer receiving news that is factual and unbiased. I have found a local paper that covers more relevant local news accurately. Please cancel my subscription that was falsely renewed without my consent. I have been a loyal subscriber for many years, but it is time to part ways. Kindly ensure that this cancellation is processed promptly. Thank you.

Hello Houston Chronicle, my son is in jail, and the judge sentenced him to 40 years for child pornography possession. He maintains his innocence and has evidence to support his claim, but he struggles to be heard. I have seen your successful campaigns on similar issues and hope you can assist him. He has never been in legal trouble, is a hardworking and respected individual, and we, his family, are enduring immense distress. We have already attempted an unsuccessful appeal and have hired a new lawyer for another attempt, though the process is lengthy. We firmly believe in his innocence and will persist until he is freed. We have a detailed account of his case ready to share either by email at [redacted] or in person if you provide guidance. Thank you for your consideration, looking forward to your reply. I tried to email the editor, but it bounced back as undeliverable. I wanted to share a complaint with them. Around thirty years ago, a congressman's wife from Illinois raised a concern about meat quality by starting a petition for clear plastic trays. This improved the meat sold in Illinois by allowing customers to see the meat quality. I recently bought meat from Kroger in Houston, and upon opening it, found it was half meat and half grease/fat. When I complained, I was asked to return the meat for a refund, which has happened multiple times. As a senior living on Social Security, this process is inconvenient and costly. I believe customers deserve fairness and quality. My request is for an investigation into requiring clear plastic trays for meat sold in Texas for transparency and quality assurance. I have attached pictures for reference.

My spouse and I have resided in our new residence for more than three years. During this period, we have experienced recurring issues with paper deliveries. In the last six weeks, in particular, we have consistently not received our paper. This week alone marks the third occasion where the paper did not arrive. Despite reaching out for a later delivery and assurances from customer service, the paper has failed to reach us. We are frustrated by the repetitive apologies and promises that the problem will be resolved, with no improvement. Receiving the paper on time has now become a rare occurrence, causing frustration. As loyal subscribers of the Houston Chronicle, we are disappointed by this substandard delivery service. We seek a permanent solution to this ongoing problem.

I subscribed to receive 5 papers on Sundays and Wednesdays. In October [redacted], I requested a vacation hold on my delivery. When I reactivated my subscription in February [redacted] for delivery starting on March 3, [redacted], I expected to receive all 5 papers as per my original subscription, not just 1. Despite my repeated calls to complain since then, the issue has not been resolved satisfactorily. I was informed that only 4 subscriptions could be on an account, hence the split-up, but the explanations provided have not made sense. This inconsistent delivery has impacted my coupon savings, and I am disappointed with the lack of resolution from customer service. I want the remaining papers of my subscription to be delivered promptly as promised.

I have been trying to address the ongoing issue with the delivery of our newspaper for nearly three years now. Despite multiple promises from managers to resolve the problem, the delivery time still does not meet the advertised schedule. Today, Sunday, the paper arrived extremely late at 10:30 am, impacting our ability to enjoy it with our morning routine. I have called numerous times to report the delayed deliveries and have only received replacement papers instead of a permanent solution. This inconsistency has led to us purchasing additional papers, which have not been credited back. As loyal customers, we expect better service and request that the paper be delivered according to the agreed-upon times. This frequent issue is frustrating, and we hope for a timely resolution. Thank you. Sincerely, R&S Neuendorf
