I booked a car for my daughter with my credit card, when she got to the desk, the Avis woman informed her that they need the cardholder present when they get the car, that was reserved under HER name, not mine. There was no mention of this at the time of booking. We need a refund on the reservation, as we had to rent a car from Hertz instead. Also, the woman at the Avis desk was cruel and nasty to my daughter to the point of making her cry! What AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!
GetHuman-tamivt did not yet indicate what Hotwire should do to make this right.
