I purchased your Ruckus RC truck today around 11:50 a.m., brought it home, charged the batteries, and followed all the instructions carefully. After around 5-10 minutes of use outside, the truck stopped working properly. I noticed issues with reverse initially, and then the truck suddenly stopped pulling forward. This was my first RC vehicle, and I was excited about owning it, but the experience has left me feeling disappointed. I suspected the motor might be fried as there was a strange smell coming from it. I had my brother-in-law, who has experience with RC vehicles, confirm the unusual smell. He suggested Traxxas as a possible solution. This whole situation has been disheartening, especially since I have always wanted an RC vehicle and finally decided to invest in one.

After relocating from Colorado to Mesa, AZ, I find myself missing crucial components of my Blade 230S setup. Unfortunately, the movers misplaced my transmitter and the simulator download discs. I am left with only the helicopter and battery charger in the original packaging. Can anyone advise me on how to acquire replacements to resume flying? I understand the importance of practicing on the simulator before attempting to fly the actual helicopter, especially considering the fate of my first 230S at the bottom of a lake. Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Pete C.

I have noticed that the AR637t Rx we discussed is priced at $99.99, but I have found another Rx option, the SPM AR630, for $69.99. My transmitter is a DX8, G2, and the Spitfire I own is a 1600mm Flighline Supermarine Spitfire (PNP) purchased from a fellow pilot. The plane came with a Futaba 7008SB Rx, but he removed it before selling it to me. The Spitfire is equipped with an 80A ESC (non-Smart) and a [redacted]-390kv brushless motor. I am interested in installing an Rx with AS3X and SAFE features in the Spitfire, but unsure whether to choose the AR637t or the AR630. All my other planes and jets from Horizon Hobby are E-flite bnf models with AS3X and Safe Select, a feature I appreciate. Given the speed of the Spitfire, AS3X and SAFE functionalities seem essential. The AR637t offers Telemetry capabilities when used with a smart ESC, which I do not plan to add for Telemetry. Considering this, should I opt for the $30 cheaper AR630 Rx instead? Although the AR630 is antenna-less, would this pose an issue for my plane? I kindly request your feedback on which Rx to purchase. If possible, please contact me on Monday at my Houston residence @ [redacted]. Thank you, Rex B.

I bought the Eflite Extra [redacted] 1.2 m a few months back and it was great until the 10th flight when it had landing issues. I've tried different batteries but the AS636B receiver won't bind or show any lights. I even tested it with a separate fully charged receiver battery. Is there a way to reset it to factory settings? I never programmed it, would that help? And how do I make a warranty claim if needed? Thanks! - Larry P.

I recently purchased an ARRMA Granite 4x4 for my kids this year. Unfortunately, they managed to break some gears and the motor in the gear box failed. I contacted Hobby Time in Great Falls, MT, where I bought it in February. After only two months of use, the gears began slipping from the motor to the drive line. Hobby Time RC replaced the gears for $50 and secured everything with locktite. However, a week later, the same issue occurred. I am sending the truck to you and need a shipping address. If you are part of the customer support team and can assist, please help. My kids are really upset about this situation.

I recently purchased a Turbo Timber E-Flight 1.5m remote control airplane that has a safe select function to prevent crashes, but my Spectrum DX5e transmitter cannot utilize this feature. I am looking for a solution to mimic the safe flight envelope without buying a new transmitter. I have a Spectrum AR [redacted] receiver and am wondering if there is a gyro or similar device that can provide similar effects to the safe flight envelope. I do own a broken DSX-6e transmitter, but Horizon Hobby declined to repair it under warranty. Any advice on how to prevent crashes with my current setup would be appreciated. Thank you for your help.

Hello everyone, I need help setting up head tracking on my Habu STS 70mm EDF Jet with the DJI FPV system. I am currently trying to connect the Universal Head Tracker version 2 by Medlin Drone and the Motionsic BadAss Gimble (BAG) using my Spektrum DX8G2. Aux 2 is working well for looking up and down, connected to channel 8, but I am having trouble getting left and right to work with channel 7. I have followed the manual for RX and TX connections. I have also set up FPV on the TX trainer to FPV using Aux 2 and Aux 3, avoiding channel 5 since it is used as AUX 1 for safe, etc. Can someone please advise me on how to free up channel 7 for use? I'm wondering if it's not compatible with this RX. Any assistance would be welcomed. - John F.

Hello Horizon Team, I recently purchased a [redacted] Air Tractor from you. This morning, I assembled it and flew it in the evening. I must say, it was a lot of fun to fly! However, after about 4-5 minutes into the first flight, it started behaving erratically. Despite rolling off the throttle and not inputting any commands, it started rolling on its own and crashed, breaking the propeller, nose, and damaging the front of the fuselage. I want to mention that a couple of years back, you were very helpful with an issue I had with a Pitts model, which is still flying great. I'm not looking for a free replacement, but I would appreciate it if you could take a look at the Air Tractor to determine what may have gone wrong. I have already purchased another Air Tractor because I really like it, but being close to 70, I understand if it was my error. I would appreciate any feedback from your service department on this matter. Thank you.

I recently sent my transmitter and receiver in for repairs, but upon receiving the package back, the receiver was missing. I reached out to Horizon Hobby service center for assistance, but they accused me of trying to get a free receiver. The email I received from them listed the transmitter as returned but mentioned the receiver as **RE-ORD TO SPMAR8020T without clarifying its return status. Despite my inquiry, they couldn't explain this change. It seems they might have a policy to replace the AR8010T with the newer AR8020T during repairs. I suspect the missing receiver could be due to an error by the technician or possibly a mishap during shipping. My concern is that I sent in an AR8010T and did not get it back, which is worth $80. The confusion in the email suggests a possible mix-up in the return shipment.

I'm disappointed that I never received the Arma Typhon 3s V3 version as a gift due to a shipping error with FedEx. Even though a signature was requested for items over $[redacted], FedEx claimed they left it without one, breaching company policy. After raising my concerns, Horizon Hobby assured me a replacement item would be sent via Postal Service to a local hobby store for pickup. Despite my agreement and partial payment through ezpay, over two months have passed without the promised second item. My trust in Horizon Hobby is waning as they fail to deliver on their commitments. FedEx's hasty deliveries, seemingly to meet quotas, result in dissatisfied customers like me facing delivery mishaps or accidents due to rushing through their routes.

A few weeks ago, I reached out to discuss a faulty battery for the aircraft. We had agreed on troubleshooting the issue, and you were supposed to send me a replacement. The problem arose when the new battery was shipped via FedEx but was sent as Cash on Delivery (COD) to their shipping center instead of directly to me. I mistakenly assumed it would be delivered to my address. I overlooked the email notification assuming it was a standard shipment confirmation similar to what UPS sends. Regrettably, once I noticed the email, I made a late payment using my debit card for the COD as I had no tracking number to follow up. I now require assistance in resolving this issue. The order number for reference is U080474.

A few weeks ago, I contacted you regarding a faulty battery for my AeroScout trainer plane. We had established the issue, and you agreed to send me a replacement battery. The shipping was done through FedEx, but it arrived at their shipping center as a Cash on Delivery (COD) hold instead of being sent directly to me as I anticipated. I mistakenly overlooked the email as a mere shipping confirmation, similar to what UPS usually sends. Regrettably, I didn't realize it required a COD payment. Upon belatedly noticing the situation, I used my debit card to settle the COD charges, yet the payment apparently arrived after the due date. Due to the absence of a tracking number, I couldn't trace the payment status. I am seeking assistance in resolving this matter. The reference number is U080474.

I placed a pre-paid order with Hiawatha in Pewaukee, WI, for an Eflite Extra [redacted] about 2 months ago. The product is currently on back-order at local Milwaukee dealers. I'm wondering when Horizon will resume shipping the Eflite Extra [redacted]. Can someone from Horizon provide insight into when these backorders will be fulfilled? Thank you! - Holger P.

Hello Matt, I am inquiring about the plastic overlay that covers the LCD screen on the TX transmitter. I recently had my device serviced, but the plastic overlay came loose and got damaged shortly after. I am hoping to receive a replacement plastic inlay so I can install it myself. Sending the entire device back for such a minor fix would be costly and time-consuming. It would be much appreciated to have a direct conversation to resolve this matter efficiently. Thank you, Bob

Matt, I'm not referring to the plastic dust cover on a new screen but the plastic overlay that covers the LCD screen, fitting around the buttons. I sent my TX in last month for a replacement, but the plastic inlay popped out and got damaged. Could you please send me a plastic inlay plate so I can easily install it myself? Sending the whole TX back for a simple replacement would cost me $40 and mean almost 2 weeks without flying in this prime weather. Thank you. - Bob
