How GetHuman-spinkspa fixed the problem
I contacted HomeAway and explained to them that one i was shocked that there is no refund if one needs to cancel because it is an awful lot of money to lose. Then concerning the deposit again i explained it was a lot to pay at once and again due to not being able to get that money back if some thing happened and one had to cancel, they more or less agreed with what i was saying. They then informed me that they would need to contact the owner* manager and then get back to me or the owner * manager would get back to me. One of did exactly that they got back to me and informed me that the Deposit had been lowered in the amount needed to pay as now, so the Villa we wanted is Booked, ready for next year. Hope other's get sorted what they need to, just make sure it is the correct people you contact.
