Me and my girlfriend had a ticket booked with megabus from Edinburgh to Stirling at **:**am at the night of Boxing day (technically **th of december). A bus driver came out and asked us "you are not golng to Stirling, are you?". Apparently there is no bus running and me and my girlfriend is now stranded in Edinburgh. We booked the ticket from the megabus website, a ticket that was apparently never available for us. We went to the closest hotel (Ibis) and had to pay over £** for a room so we can take a train tomorrow (another £**). We looked in to Taxis but that would cost us a lot more than the hotel. Megabus have costed us a fortune for a service they sold us but never provided. I feel like this is either illegal or borderline illegal. I want compensation for the whole situation they created which have caused distress for both of us.
