Hello, I have noticed an error on the RI [redacted] form that I wanted to bring to your attention. Section 5, which is not supported by H&R Block for annualizing income, leads to issues where lines 14 and 15 are not transferring data correctly. This can result in incorrect calculations and penalties, as line 15 is not reflecting the proper tax owed due to late-year income and estimated taxes. I believe that H&R Block should address this issue in the [redacted] and [redacted] forms to prevent future discrepancies. Line 14 should automatically copy data from line 33 without requiring manual overrides. It's essential to inform users who may have been affected by this error to potentially claim refunds. Thank you for addressing this matter promptly. Regards, S. Wax

I have had my taxes prepared by your company for the past three years. However, during my recent visit on January 25, [redacted], I was not informed about the upfront prices as indicated on your website. The staff member who assisted me displayed arrogance and did not ask relevant questions. Furthermore, she guaranteed that I would receive my federal return within 8 days, which has not happened. She also claimed to have 10 years of tax preparation experience, while I have been filing taxes since I was 14 years old. Given the unsatisfactory service, I am disappointed with the $[redacted].00 fee charged for my taxes. I may need to escalate this matter to the IRS due to the poor experience caused by one of your employees.

I submitted my taxes at an H&R Block office two days ago and signed up for the refund advance. I have not received any updates about the advance or the acceptance of my return by the IRS. Despite calling the branch multiple times yesterday to speak with the tax preparer, they assured me they would call back but never did. I am feeling ignored by H&R Block and am eager to get more information about my refund advance status.

I used the HR Block app to file my [redacted] taxes, and the IRS confirmed my $[redacted] refund was deposited into my account. However, I have not received the refund in my bank account. I need assistance to track down my missing refund because despite my efforts, I have been unable to locate it. It has been 5 months since I filed my taxes, and I am confused about the situation. If someone from HR Block could help me with this issue, I would greatly appreciate it. My name is Jonathan R.

When I try to access my tax return from last year by selecting the option, it redirects me to information on this year's taxes instead. I specifically need a copy of my [redacted] return. The app seems to be malfunctioning. Can you please email me a copy of my [redacted] tax document or attach it to a message? I can log into my account without any issues, but the problem arises after logging in as described earlier.

Last year in [redacted], I had my taxes prepared by Stacey Germann at H&R Block in Orleans, MA. The total cost for the service was $[redacted], but with a $35 discount, I paid $[redacted] in total. However, I did not receive a breakdown of the charges on the receipt. When I contacted the office, the receptionist could only offer a basic explanation of the billing process and could not provide detailed information about the cost breakdown. I am requesting a detailed breakdown of why my bill was $[redacted] as I suspect I may have been overcharged. Thank you for your assistance in clarifying this matter.

I would like to share my experience with the customer service at HR Block over the past two years. In [redacted], I used their services for the first time. Despite submitting all required documentation promptly, I encountered delays due to the IRS backlog caused by the pandemic. After several unsuccessful attempts to follow up, I spoke to a staff member who was unhelpful and dismissive. This led to me owing money to the IRS and facing late fees. Upon revisiting the office recently and discussing last year's issues with the same tax preparer, I discovered a significant error in my return related to an unrecorded refund check. Despite my concerns and past difficulties, the preparer showed little empathy and failed to address my previous struggles. Disappointed by the lack of accountability and unsatisfactory service, I have decided to seek assistance elsewhere or manage my taxes independently in the future. As someone with two decades of experience in customer service, I am saddened by the lack of professionalism I encountered at HR Block. I wanted to bring this to your attention for future improvement. Thank you for your time. Julie A Donnelly

I have a question regarding taxes. Last year, in [redacted], I attended a job interview at PF Changs. I can't recall completing any onboarding paperwork such as providing my SSN or driver's license. I didn't return after the interview as I accepted another job offer. Despite not working at PF Changs, I recently received a W2 in the mail stating no income. Should I include this W2 when filing my taxes? I'm unable to locate the original copy and wonder if I need to request a new one. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Last year, I used your service to file my taxes without any issues. This year, due to investing in stocks, I needed to include a 1099B form. To access this feature, I paid to upgrade my account on your app. While finalizing my return, I received a message stating that I needed to mail my taxes to the IRS because of missing information in my Robinhood tax documents. Wanting to ensure accuracy, I researched online where to file taxes when using Robinhood as my brokerage. Many recommended TurboTax for its comprehensive transfer of information. Consequently, I switched to TurboTax to complete my taxes. As I will not be finishing through H&R Block, I am hoping for a refund for the previously paid upgrade.

I am incredibly frustrated with the inefficiencies at this branch regarding scheduling and administrative tasks. Last year, I booked an appointment online only to be turned away because my information was not in their system. Despite being told to call for appointments, they later called to reschedule the already rescheduled appointment! This year, I proactively called to schedule, but then received a call assigning me to a tax professional who wasn't even working that day, necessitating another rescheduling. The night before my appointment, the tax professional informed me she couldn't handle my taxes due to it involving small business claims, and they would need to call me to rearrange. The repeated errors and lack of organization have led me to lose trust in this branch. Although I understand they may be understaffed, the mistakes made were due to neglect and disarray rather than solely staffing issues. Sadly, after these multiple disappointments, I will seek tax services elsewhere other than H&R Block.

Dear Sir/Madam, I have been going to a local H&R Block office for years for my tax preparation, but this year I decided to use their online software for the first time since my tax situation no longer required itemization. After completing my [redacted] return online, the program confirmed everything was accurate, but later I received a message that the IRS rejected my submission. Despite multiple attempts, I faced the same issue and was unable to reach H&R Block's online support for assistance. Since I had already been charged a $38 filing fee and was anticipating a $[redacted] refund, I am seeking help to resolve this matter promptly as the tax deadline has passed. Best regards, F.T.

Around 2:30pm EST on 2-20-[redacted], I became a customer for the first time on "store.hrblock.com." While purchasing your best software package, I encountered a "payment declined" error. Despite this, my second attempt was successful. Unfortunately, upon reviewing my CITICARDS account, I discovered I was charged twice by H & R Block for $91.31 at 2:40pm on 2-22-[redacted]. I kindly request that the first duplicate charge be reversed, as it was the one initially deemed "declined." My enrollment details are as follows: Email: [redacted] Name: Anthony Tabacco Address: 68 Forest Street, Lowell, MA [redacted] Duplicate Charge: $92.31

I have been a satisfied user of H&R Block software for over 10 years but encountered a frustrating issue with my [redacted] and [redacted] tax returns. My refund was rejected with an error code FD-31-FMT-[redacted], which prompted me to review all forms for errors. After struggling to resolve this with customer service and online searches in [redacted], I reentered my data on a new form and successfully filed. However, the same error resurfaced in [redacted], leading me to switch to a competitor's software for a successful filing. I am seeking reimbursement for the [redacted] software due to the issue. My purchase details are as follows: - Product: H&R Block [redacted] Deluxe + State Tax Software - Price: $39.95 - Sales tax: $2.40 - Total: $42.35 Please reach me at [redacted] or [redacted] Thank you for your attention to this matter. My experience with H&R Block [redacted] Deluxe with State was frustrating. After facing issues with my tax file, I spent over two hours on the phone with support but received no resolution. Eventually, I found a solution online, which involved reinstalling the software. Despite resolving the problem on my own, I'm disappointed with the poor support received. I would like my VISA card refunded for charges on 2/18 and 2/19/[redacted] due to unsuccessful e-filing attempts that led me to incur multiple charges. Additionally, I expect the pending charges to be canceled and reimbursement for the successful state e-filing, considering the time wasted during the support call. My request for compensation is based on the time spent and the service fee. Please address this matter promptly. Thank you.

I am trying to locate my [redacted] tax return prepared by H&R Block. The IRS required me to provide proof of my identity, which was delayed due to COVID-19. After finally faxing the necessary documents, I found out that my tax refund of nearly $3,[redacted] was used to pay off $1,[redacted] in child support. I am now wondering where the remaining balance is. Recently, my wallet was stolen with my H&R Block Emerald card inside, but when I checked online, no funds were deposited onto the card. Additionally, I am facing issues with my [redacted] and [redacted] tax returns, as the IRS is requesting a PIN number for electronic filing, which I have not received. This situation has been incredibly challenging as I lost my job during COVID-19, and as a single mother without support, I have not received any stimulus checks or child tax credits. I am in urgent need of the funds owed to me. Thank you for your assistance.

I had a tax preparation meeting today, and unfortunately, I found out that I owe money to both Federal and State instead of getting a refund. Despite being 55 years old and deaf, I was charged $[redacted] for the service, which is a hefty fee for me. I attempted to use a coupon, but it was only valid for new clients. The location was HR Block on [redacted] Reisterstown Rd, Owings MIlls, MD [redacted]. The paperwork was minimal, yet I was still charged $[redacted]. I informed them that I will return on Wednesday to collect my documents and pay the fee. Feeling upset about the situation, I don't plan on using HR Block services next year. It doesn't make sense to pay $[redacted] without receiving a refund. I hope for some assistance in this matter. Thank you.

I visited H&R Block on January 24th to file my taxes. I am concerned as I have still not received my refund. Upon checking the status online, I discovered that there were errors in my return and the IRS had to correct them using code [redacted]. I reached out to corporate, and they assured me that the $[redacted] fee would be waived since the errors were not on my end. However, when I received my refund, H&R Block had deducted both the $[redacted] advance I received and the $[redacted] fee. I believe I am entitled to a refund of the $[redacted] fee. I provided all necessary information, including social security cards, but it appears the preparer made mistakes when inputting the data. I would like the $[redacted] fee refunded to my card and for someone to contact me to address these issues and discrepancies in my refund. This experience has left me dissatisfied, and I will not be returning to H&R Block.

I am experiencing issues printing my state tax return. After paying for both federal and state taxes, I had to wait one week for the federal forms to print and another week for the state forms. However, when trying to access and print the state return, the federal forms keep appearing mixed with the state ones. Even after trying to separate them, not all state forms were printed. I would like my state tax return printed or a refund so I can use a different online tax service. I tried reaching out through live chat, but it was unsuccessful. When I called customer service, the representative was not familiar with the online platform. I prefer live chat or a refund instead of email communication. With four more tax returns to file, I cannot afford to waste time on this system.

I have been filing my taxes with you for years through H&R Block. This year, for the first time, there was an error that reduced my refund. I spoke with Kim in Del City, OKC at [redacted] to address this issue. I informed her about the error, and she acknowledged it. However, when I inquired about my advance tax credit, Kim mentioned a different amount from what was stated. She explained that the discrepancy was due to deductions for preparation fees, etc. When I expressed my concerns about the situation and the prep fee of $[redacted], Kim's attitude changed, and she mentioned to come back and speak with Teresa, her boss. I am disappointed with the service I received and would like a quick and effective resolution to this matter as I have been a loyal customer for many years. Thank you for your prompt attention.

I've encountered a programming issue with your online tax system that is preventing me from filing my taxes due to an error message I receive during the Final Accuracy ReviewTM. The error specifically pertains to the DirectDeposit DirectDepositInfo.Amount and DirectDeposit DirectDepositInfo.AmountConfirm fields having more than 2 decimals. Despite numerous attempts to resolve this through tech support, I remain unable to proceed past the accuracy review to correct the direct deposit details. Selecting "fix issue" at this stage only loops me back to the beginning, perpetuating the problem. It's frustrating not being able to input or amend my direct deposit information before the accuracy review stage. This issue needs your attention as it's a barrier to filing my taxes seamlessly.
