Hello, I am seeking assistance with downloading an app. Despite purchasing a new phone to enhance my gaming experience with this app that I truly enjoy, I encountered an issue. Upon attempting to download the app on my new device, I received the following error message: "CAN'T DOWNLOAD APP MORTAL KOMBAT X CAN'T BE DOWNLOADED. Try again later and if the problem continues, get help troubleshooting. Error Code:[redacted]" I previously experienced a similar problem four years ago with my old phone, which I resolved through troubleshooting. Unfortunately, the steps did not work on my new device. I researched a potential solution involving VPN settings and even installed a VPN app but to no avail. I am growing frustrated as I have been unsuccessful in resolving this issue. I have attached a screenshot of the error message for reference. I, Nektaria Pipilakis (Nikki), recently had an unfortunate experience involving a scam with the ATO and Woolworths. During multiple purchases of Google Play cards at different Woolworths stores, I was not warned about the scam until a checkout employee at the last store intervened. I am disappointed in the lack of training for employees in handling such situations and the absence of duty of care by Woolworths. Upon contacting my bank, I learned that the transactions were pending and could potentially be stopped by Woolworths within a 24-hour window. Despite reassurance from a staff member at the Highett Store, I encountered delays when trying to resolve the issue with the store manager the next morning. Hello, I am reaching out about the MLB TSB [redacted] game I downloaded from Google Play. I have been enjoying this game for the past few months. Recently, I discovered rampant cheating taking place. Players openly discuss cheating tactics and GLU Mobile, the game developer, is not taking action. I have evidence of this cheating behavior that circulates among players. GLU Mobile seems to allow this behavior to continue, pushing players like me to purchase gold to try to compete against cheaters. This situation has deeply upset me. I am requesting a refund for the money spent on this game from August [redacted] to September [redacted], which amounts to over $[redacted]. My account was compromised with unauthorized charges using my PayPal and credit card. As a result, my bank account is now overdrawn by $78. I was told by my bank that I will incur at least 6 overdraft fees. This situation is particularly challenging as I am on a very limited income. The charges were made by a 12-year-old with Autism who had access to my phone for three days, accumulating over $80 in expenses. Although I enjoy Fishdom and online shopping, this situation is unacceptable. I recently closed my ecommerce store in June and was not aware that my payment methods were still linked. I urgently request a refund for these transactions. Minors should not be able to make purchases without proper authorization, especially without a password. I have already contacted my bank to file claims, but I kindly ask for your immediate assistance in processing a refund of $80 for my car insurance. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from the IRS, stating that I owed $2,[redacted] in debt from financial aid. They threatened me with government action if I didn't pay immediately. Feeling scared, I quickly purchased Google Play gift cards totaling $[redacted]. Now I realize it was a scam. I contacted various places for help in getting my money back, but so far, no luck. Recently, I noticed a change in my phone’s behavior when using my Auxiliary cord in the car. Typically, I utilize it to play music or make hands-free calls while driving. However, over the past two days, I've encountered an issue where the phone disconnects calls with my husband and prompts Google Assistant on the screen when the cord is connected. This Assistant feature interrupts both my calls and music sessions, offering updates and asking for my needs. I own an LG Stylo 4, which I acquired about 3 months ago, and suspect the interference is due to this Assistant feature. It's become rather disruptive, and I would appreciate any advice on how to resolve this issue.

I made a purchase for an in-app item that was declined by Google Play, but my card got charged. I contacted my bank, and they advised me to request a refund from the merchant. When I reached out to the merchant, they directed me back to Google Play, as I did not receive a Google Play Order, which should not have gone through. I've been buying in-app items from this merchant for a while, and this is the first time I've been charged without receiving the item or an order from Google Play. Without a Google Play Order, I can't file a claim with the merchant. I have proof of the charges through SMS and my bank statement, yet I can't attach them here. I'm stuck as neither the bank nor the merchant could assist me. Any advice would be appreciated.

I am having trouble verifying my Google account through the app. Although I am already logged in, I am attempting to add my other emails to the Google app since I recently changed phones and need to update my contacts. Some contacts were saved under the current Google account I am logged into, while others are in the Gmail accounts I would like to add. When I try to add an account, it prompts me to verify the current account. Even after entering my password, I keep receiving an error message asking me to try again. Oddly, when I verify using the web version, everything works smoothly, and my password is correct. However, when I return to the app, it still won't verify my account, even though I am certain I am entering the correct password. I attempted to delete the Gmail account from the app, but it requires verification as well. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I submitted a fraud claim with my bank on June 27, [redacted], amounting to $[redacted].91 across 16 unauthorized charges. My previous phone was stolen from my grocery cart, prompting me to purchase a new one. I suspect the thief used my phone for these transactions, which were possibly related to gaming. At that time, I did not have additional security measures on my Google Play account, unlike now where it requires my thumbprint and is linked solely to a separate debit card. My bank, Bank of America, reimbursed me on June 28, [redacted], a day after reporting the issue, but unexpectedly withdrew the refunded amount on October 3, [redacted], leading to complications with my account and other expenses, resulting in multiple $35 fees. Despite providing requested documentation like my driver's license and card details, my bank states the charges were legitimate. I am unsure of how to proceed to recover the funds.

I need some advice regarding a loan company, Money Loan.com. They contacted me regarding a loan application I submitted, mentioning they couldn't do a direct deposit and asked me to buy a Google Play store card worth $[redacted] from Walgreens. They instructed me to call and provide them with the verification number from the receipt. They stated that by doing this, they would verify my income to make monthly payments of $[redacted], and then send me the $[redacted] I requested through Western Union at the same Walgreens. I am unsure if this is a scam or a legitimate transaction. They assured me they wouldn't keep the $[redacted] and that I would get it back. However, it all seems too good to be true. On the 11th of October [redacted] at 7:11 p.m., I purchased a pack on PES2018 Mobile. The pack cost [redacted] club coins for [redacted] INR, and I completed the transaction via net banking. After making the payment, I received a successful confirmation on my screen; however, I encountered an issue with the redirection process as my internet briefly disconnected. Despite reconnecting promptly, upon opening PES2018, I did not receive the purchased items. Initially, I reached out to my bank, which confirmed that the transaction error was caused by the portal. Subsequently, I contacted PES2018 (Konami), and they mentioned that if I received a receipt email from Google Play, the issue would lie with them. If I did not receive any email regarding the purchase, then the problem might be related to the portal or Google Play. I have made several successful purchases on PES2018 before and have always received a Google Play receipt email. However, this time, I did not receive any confirmation. My trial period has ended, and 99 rupees have been deducted from my bank account. During the trial, I wanted to cancel the google play subscription because the music selection wasn't meeting my expectations, causing frustration in my friend circle. I planned to cancel but got busy and received an email today about the renewal, which I don't want. I find this subscription annoying and request a refund for the debited amount. I am canceling the subscription now. Kindly refund my money. Thank you.

I have not renewed any subscriptions with Google or YouTube TV. Last month, a charge appeared on my other bank statement without authorization. I want to clarify that I did not request or want to renew any services. Several months back, I had a one-week trial with YouTube TV for access to ESPN, which I canceled within the trial period. Subsequently, Google tried to charge me $40, resulting in a dispute with Wells Fargo, which was resolved. However, I am now seeing a similar charge on my Rivermark account through PayPal. I will be contacting my bank to dispute this charge as well. Please cease any further billing from Google YouTube TV as I have not requested this service and do not wish to be charged for it. I was in bed the other night when I began receiving multiple emails with receipts from Google Play for purchases on an app named Roblox. Despite not playing this game myself and no one in my family doing so either, I received 10 emails with a total charge of $[redacted].90 to my Visa. All my family members were home and asleep during this time, making it impossible for them to make these purchases. I have already removed my Visa from my Google account to prevent future incidents. Disappointed by the situation, I believed using PayPal for purchases was secure, but it seems otherwise. I have already submitted a claim for a refund, which unfortunately was denied. I've been playing Tap Sports Baseball on my Android and have made several purchases on this account. However, I recently discovered that my account has been locked out since the weekend without any access. I am requesting a refund for all purchases made before October 16th due to not being able to use the team and the money spent on unlocking players and perks that I can no longer utilize. Despite reaching out to Glu for assistance, I only received a generic response stating that my team was jailed with no chance of retrieving my account. I had to create a new account and start afresh, which I find unfair as it led to financial losses. Please help me in recovering these purchases, and I would be satisfied with Google Play credit since I've begun anew team. Your support in resolving this issue would be highly valued.

My son unintentionally bought a trial app and was later charged for it, even though he didn't use it and attempted to delete it. I'm frustrated with the refund denial online despite reaching out to Verizon promptly after the charge. Initially told to wait until my billing cycle ended to address the issue, I'm now being informed that Google Play handles refunds. Unfortunately, it's been more than 48 hours since the purchase, but based on my account history, I hope they can make an exception and refund the $95.88 given this honest mistake.

On October 3, I was charged $4.99 while playing a Murka game. When asked if I wanted to make a purchase, I tried to tap the "x" to escape, but my fingers are not steady and I accidentally tapped the main box. I immediately exited the program to avoid completing the purchase, yet my PayPal account was still charged. On October 4, a similar incident occurred while playing Word Whizzle Connect, resulting in a $7.99 charge. PayPal refuses to refund the charges, citing "1-touch pay" as the reason for pre-approved charges with no refund option. I was unaware of this feature and have since disabled it. I kindly request Google to consider refunding these charges as an exception due to my physical limitations, fixed income, lack of use of the purchased items, and the time it took me to learn about the charges and contact Google. I've been unable to access my account [redacted] for over six months. I don't have the necessary devices for the two-step verification process. Even though I've tried contacting support multiple times, I haven't received any assistance in regaining access to my account linked to my bank card. Google has continued to charge me for Google Play without providing me access to the service. I would like a full refund for the entire period, as this issue predates October.

I subscribed to Hothead Games' Hero Hunters for the free chest upon sign-up. The subscription was supposed to renew on 10/17/[redacted], as clearly stated in the information provided. Despite unsubscribing on 10/16/[redacted], a charge of $19.99 was still deducted, as evidenced by my online banking app. Hothead Games has been unhelpful, insisting that no charge was made, even though I have proof of the transaction. On October 17th, I encountered a fraudulent offer on my eBay account, which led me to believe my linked PayPal account was hacked. After searching on Google, I came across a supposed PayPal help number, 1-[redacted]. They claimed to be PayPal and instructed me to purchase a $[redacted] Google gift card to remove hackers from my account. Naively, I complied. They then insisted I buy an additional $[redacted] Google Play card to fully resolve the issue. Realizing I was scammed, I contacted the authentic PayPal customer service, who confirmed my account was secure and pledged to reach out to Google regarding the issue. Despite my frequent use of Google search, the fraudulent nature of the site was not apparent. Subsequently, I received another text from the scam PayPal using phone number [redacted], notifying me that my refund was denied. I have contested the $[redacted] gift card charge through Visa, although I initially used a bank card for the purchase. This incident is a first for me, occurring during a stressful time as my daughter was scheduled for surgery the next day.
