I have car and home insurance with you. I called last week to advise the company that my husband has abandoned the property and that his car is located somewhere else and I was removed from the account. I had paid the insurance from my checking account for both cars in the amount of $***.** for * months. I just received a refund $***.** but then you left the remainder of my balance of $***.** towards the old account. This is making his account paid in full for the next * months. Your reps have stated that they have left several messages with him but guess the address doesn't make a difference when the account is paid in full. It seems that you really don't care that his car is located in Northern VA and you are losing money, rates and liability. Now I have to come up with another $***.** or I will be cancelled. Poor customer service. He has to authorize my refund back to my credit card and he will probably never call you back and update his address. I also was supposed to get a call back with any information and no call back. I know that this situation with my husband is not your problem but I didn't have to call in and tell you the truth but I am not the one that is being dishonest to your company. It seems all your company cares about is if the accounts are paid and doesn't matter where the vehicles are located.
I trust that GEICO will make this right and come up with a resolution that is fair.
