On July **, ****, I contacted GE and set-up a warranty repair for a clothes washer at Watson Place – we purchased it ********* – GE gave me a “temp” conf. **********. They were to contact Jerry, apt. manager within ** to ** hrs – didn’t happen, so he called them – finally a guy from “Jet Appliance” came out looked at it and said it needs a new “box” – he supposedly ordered it, Jerry had not heard from him – called him and he gave Jerry the run around – asked Jerry if he had it – Jerry asked him where did he have it sent? The guy just hasn’t come through – I called and left a message for Jet – no response. I again emailed a request for service to GE and got the message “We’re sorry. We’re unable to locate a technician for your repair service. Please call **** ***-**** and we can help you find an authorized servicer in your area.” I called GE and spoke with Cynthia (very nice) and explained our situation. She gave me another conf. * ********* and also gave me the number for Consumer Licensing if we don’t hear anything within ** to ** hrs. The washer is usable, but makes a horrible grinding noise when it spins.—I’m concerned if use is continued, soon there will be oil or something all over the clothes. If GE is unable to get a repair service person to go to Enumclaw WA, we ask that GE kindly replace the washer with a new one at no cost?*Thank you.*Joan Manning*Admin.
