When we opened our new account, we were told we would have to pay a $*,*** deposit!! I later found out from an FPL phone representative that that happened because our Equifax account was frozen so FPL could not check our credit. Our credit is excellent and the account is not frozen. I need to talk to a representative about checking the credit and, based on that, reducing or eliminating the huge deposit.
